  1. Apropos of the recent BBSP discussion: For the past few weeks, I’ve been heavily embracing the Shirt Over Shirt Mindset of yesteryear feat. Tilley cap, Tender Co. x 2, TCB / Sure Mfg. tee, Hollows belt, Roy Foremans, MOTO derbies
  2. Old long horn patch 1001xx in 33x34 up on Yahoo in good condition for a good deal…
  3. @Graytrain There’s another pair of M41027 up now in W34, in case they’re still on your mind… I do actually have a pair of the hair on hides squirreled away, with tags and all, but they’re a couple of sizes too small (tagged 32 or 33, I think), so they’re more likely to end up being my partner’s than mine
  4. Most cuts labeled “relaxed tapered” seem to really be more in the slim–tapered to narrow–tapered range, these days, so maybe TCB isn’t far off after all…
  5. Beautiful pair of Bootleggers up on Yahoo right now w/ the tags and everything…anyone planning on biting?
  6. Posted in the Warehouse thread recently about my 1001xx DSB which, among many other repairs, had just had their back pocket patched up. Did the same repair yesterday on my 601xx and thought I’d document it a little better. Pictures should tell the story okay. Forgot to photo the final product, but it looks about the same as it did on the 1001xx…
  7. Tilley cap / Rocky Mountain x Warehouse / Union Special / Hollows / 601rb from @Lazerr / Frank’s boots
  8. Yeah, the measurements on the site seemed promising, but I emailed Ryo to check and he replied that the new Lee jeans are some of the slimmest they've done (at least through the hips and thighs), even more so than the S40s. Supposedly the aim is, in part, to fill the niche of a slim–tapered cut, which wasn't really present in their lineup previously. Oh well.
  9. M41027 Don’t know much about these. Seems like pretty much the same exact details, top to bottom, as the MP-619, but in a much wider cut—same hardware and everything. Maybe from early after the switch to M-series? They’re also sized on the smaller end: these are tagged W36 and fit more similar to the W34 of the late ‘90s Photos taken after a machine wash and one day of wear
  10. ^ Viberg has seemed like a ripoff for a long time, as compared to similar boots from other PNW makers
  11. Yep, saw that. Looking forward to getting the update from Barnstormers. Might have to swing by S&S this weekend to get a little sneak peek…
  12. ^^ That’s a funny note about sizing. I’m generally a 42 or 44 in other brands’ jackets (never had any from TCB), and based on the size chart I was looking at a 46 in the storm rider…

    Buaisou

^ Should probably just be half the shoulder-to-shoulder width to do a good comparison: 87 cm neck-to-wrist for the Buaisou vs. 89.5 cm for the McCoy’s
  14. Tilley cap / Ues shirt / Merz tee / old Cane’s
  15. @Hopethisoneisnttaken That looks like it should be in the Black Corridor in Red Rocks, on the right side of the lower level towards the middle—don’t remember the name of the route
  16. ^^ Anyone who looks at broguing and thinks dress shoes probably isn’t worth paying much mind, when it comes to style…
  17. Pup’s first trip to the market Tilley / Rocky Mountain / Joe McCoy’s Ballpark / Duke’s / Cane’s
  18. @Hopethisoneisnttaken Good guess
  19. @MJF9 How’s that Cathartt coat coming along? Still bummed to have missed out on those; hoping to live vicariously…
  20. Couple of months ago I gave one of the brass peregrine falcon whistles to my sweetie as a necklace It’s a really gorgeous piece—the casting is great, and I’m particularly fond of the variation in color around the joint where the two pieces were heated up & brazed together Anyway, I’m borrowing it today, so I thought I’d take advantage of the photo opportunity. Shown here w/ a Tezomeya tee & a Type 492 shirt, overdyed w/ henna
  21. ^ didn’t some of the Champloo SdA jeans do the same, too?
