So I ended up picking up a 220a pair in 36/32 from Cultizm with the sign up bonus. Worked out to not be too far off Bears (out of stock) price-wise.

I’m actually glad I didn’t know about FW, my wallet would have obliged, but grudgingly. SDA is M’arijuan by the way @blooming. Not sure why I didn’t look up Hinoya but Bears was enough for me. It’s not crazy far but with multiple trains and not sure how early you need to be for the next flight, you could Uber all those locations, not as cheap as the trains but no navigation required. 😎

And then you have FC, Edwin, SDA, Momo, JB, and Tools Infinity (TCB, SC, and Levi's), all within a 20-minute radius. Could visit, peruse, try, and buy within 3 hours easily. You could probably fit Warehouse (Denime) in, too, while you are at it. Max 4 hours. Bears would be a must, in my opinion, but it's a little further out so you might be cutting it slim.

Also enjoyed the content as the Nudies and Imperial bit hit hard for me, considering my real first dipping of feet into proper Japanese denim—after Nudies—was the SExI04. The SE origin story was also cool and not something I would have thought it evolved from.

New Imperials are up, I just got the 47 and ST, with the latter being my pair for the Indigo Invitational. Will post pics when I get them 👍🏻

Boom! I just purchased both in size 36, I will using the ST pair for the Indigo Invitational. Stoked! Bought the Poten indigo denim adj. hat too, figured I would try to wear that in for IIY4 as well.

BBSP is the bomb! Been on their email list ($50 a year is worth it) for a good while. The SSENSE article he did was mega a few months ago. He hits the mark so many times and it isn't always fashion too. -
Washing machine is free at the moment (I think it's full of quarters and can't take anymore) so figured it was a good time to get my washing in for the winter. SC, Roy, SDA and SC drying...

I assumed from previous years and what they have showed on their Instagram account with how many prizes are in the pot, that the Top 50 from each conference could get “something.” Not sure exactly if that’s fully correct or if it’s more fluid.

Don’t leave us all hanging Blooming! Judging from the size you posted in your Denime history thread, it seems I would need to look for a size 34 (newer Denime, size 36 looks best with shrinking). I’m assuming fairly similar shrinkage? Can internationals buy from Mercari Japan?

I didn't, sorry. TFH was quite "big" compared to other denim stores. Fullcount was the smallest and seemingly the busiest.

Regarding Poten caps, specifically this one, what sort of wash process would you recommend? PS I received my SC1947 BKBK, such a nice fit, letting them drape before I figure out cuff but love the silhouette.
