@SmokeStackLightning yes indeed, just on my new Resolute. There's definitely some vertical stretch too. 

@beautiful_FrEaK my pair has almost no defects. The threads are super strong. The noticable damages are these:

Did another 70c wash on the new pair, now its pretty much as the old one. 

Now I'll try to hold out washing for as long as I can. 

Currently wearing my new 36/36. The inseam needs to shrink more, it's at least 1" longer than on my old pair, even after two 60c washes. It's around 84cm now

Yes, as far as I know. I find the rise to be perfect, just in the middle between too low and too high. 

^that was the reason I got me a FH jacket. Awesome piece. Mine is nowhere near that yet. 

You're totally right. My Iron Heart jacket stays pretty dark but gets super light in areas with friction. The FCL just seems to fade to brown smoothly overall.

I will try to wear them a bit longer before the first wash as my last pair came pre-owned. But I will still wash it as often as they need it.

What I like about the pair is not only the denim and fading but also the cut. It's slim yet comfy and I just love that they are some sort of an understatement pair. And they fade just like back in the days, roping, leg twist and colour are on point. 

It says a lot about hayashi that he keeps making this his main model and not trying gimmicks like heavy denim, neps, golden buttons etc. 

In fact I thought the denim looked a bit mory hary and streaks but otherwise feels the same, also the reaction of the denim is similar. We will see... 

I'm sure that I will rebuy this model over and over.

It shrunk from 91cm to 84 cm. I think the final length is 82 to 83 cm

Just saw that leg twist was discussed. My new pair had non (of course) in raw state but it developed the typical strong twist after washing, at least on the left leg. 

Startet my next pair, same size as before.
