I also think a wash would open up the fabric, it looks pretty flat. Reminds me of resolute and my old 70s type III. But i also think that it could fade beautifully. 

@tigerstrom just came across your old posts from 2015 when you got the 505. Do you have evo pictures or did the ooe come inbetween? I hope i can pick up my pair today, very excited for them. The small roping on the hem was so excellent i dont dare hemming them.

And i sold the fc and told sascha to put the tcb away. Very stoked, the fit is really perfect for me. Comfy legs and nice taper. 

Tried on the tcb 505 today. 36 was perfect. Lovely fabric too...thinking of getting it for the dwc and selling my fc 1108ex... the zipper is a turn off, but the cut is great.

Yes, I have the 1101 in the Standard denim.

Chiming in, FC's onewash is great. Would buy it over the raw Version anytime.

Thanks mate. I think a black pair of jeans should have that slim look, yet  it's not exactly comfortable in (yet) stiff 21 oz. The older I get the more I put comfort over fit - well, not this time.

IH 777VS after soaking...the rise is really low, need to get used to that.

I've thought a few times about getting those, cool to see a faded pair. Generally I crave another 14,5oz pair, too bad that the 660 is not available anymore. My 800 in 34 was too snug lately, but as they don't do a 35 I think a 36 would be too big.

^IMO you should frame them, not that much to repair left. But they look awesome!

When my friends at Vater & Sohn do a collab I have to have it, even though I never thought I'd buy a 777 cut jeans with such low rise. Somehow they still worked and have the most modern look of all my jeans. The regular, shiny, stiff and heavy denim is totally different from my other current denims. From the 555-03 I know that it will fade fast,so I'll try to treat the jeans kindly so the stay black as long as possible. I hope they don't shrink too much as well...so i guess that means only handwashing.

Here's my 1108EX after hemming. They still feel huge, also because Iost some weight and bought a pair of IH x VS 777 that are the complete opposite in terms of fabric and cut. I think Igot the baggiest 1108 fit ever, but with hot washes and a dryer I hope they work in my favor. The right upper thigh has an irregular spot, but I think it won't be a problem.
