Day II: St. Pauls, Tate Modern & I couldn't resist stopping by Real McCoys.

Sleeves look kinda long, but the rest is ok. Not sure how the shoulders fit if you gain weight, but sizing up will give you too long arms.

I Got the first hoodie they made - it faded a lot. But the newer ones are totally different. They feel lighter however.

Do you have a picture? Theres some stretch in them from ow state, but not as much as in other jeans. But 1" in the waist should definitely be possible.

The green hoodie looks great, must have overlooked it back then

I wash the cutoff hems everytime i wash. Usually that helps predicting the fade. Will share them when i find time.

Both look stunning. Might be my favorite post this year so far. Makes me almost consider getting another pair one day and holding out longer between the washes. 

It's a judged contest so it comes down to the taste and criteria of the judges. As i expected high contrast is ranked higher, maybe because it shows more dedication to some or draws more attention. For my personal taste and probably many likeminded users its not that much (anymore) about contrast but achieving a vintage look. The user reps seem to reflect that and i think in a poll among japanese retailers setterman would have killed it.

Im not saying that the wins are not deserved, just that if it wasnt about a fading contest but about the most beautifully faded jeans i would have expected other results. And i personally tried the latter, the choice of denim and washing routine was a result of that. Congrats and thumbs up to everyone - it was a fun time and we got beautifully faded jeans.

Yes, it's not really long, rather mid-rise. My pockets are not really long comparerd to UES, like volvo said, but they are by no means too short.

A small one maybe, acquired it over 6 years so it was doable

I really enjoyed watching it, its nice to see the origins after knowing brands for a while. 

If they only were 35...

Post vs prewash. A lot happened, i love the fit and the roping. Might make this my dwc3 contest pair.

@volvo240thebest the hem measures 22cm at an inseam of 77cm. Quite drastic taper.

Yes, but I Need to get home first, so will take a few hours. I think they'll be a fair bit wider due to the taper.
