Random announcement, but one that makes me happy: sold my IH 101 J with very mixed feelings and second thoughts, but used the Money for this Indigofera Blanket that I was eying for years. Glad I found one in Finland now. And it means I will one day have to get my a lighter Lee Repro jacket or a nice Type III, but not in heavy denim.

I used to be the same size in the 5000 cut (21 oz however) and the 710 XX, but it's been a while since I bought them. If the 5000 fits good in 33 it should be safe to go with the same size (preferably the same Lot Number), but maybe you can find a retailer that measures a pair for you to compare. The 710 has a slightly higher rise and will shrink about 1" in the waist but Stretch back to presoak size, just like the 17 oz denim.

My samurai chinos are made of 15 oz silver selvage super stubby fabric that feels like denim. That sets them apart from normal chinos (maybe even doesn't make them real chinos) but when you see and feel them you'll know why the are on par with jeans, quality and price wise.

Seems like my 1108EX finally got delivered to my sister's adress. Not sure when I'll be able to pick them up, but at least they're here now.

Any tips for London Tattoo Artists I could check out? So far I have MxM, Liam Sparkes, Philipp Yarnell and Rafel Delalande on my list, but for sure I miss some.

Random note: I am awaiting the infamous UES 400T by @volvo240thebest as experimental pair to make Shorts out of them. Since they're bigger than my pair I thought it made sense to put them to use, not sure how much I'll like the result though. But I look forward wearing some UES denim again. Just Need to decide wether to do a normal hem or chainstitched one. As I might roll the hem I guess it doesn't matter much...

I finally got this sh 16 SS on the second hand market. I had it one size smaller years ago and regretted selling it ever since. I also love the black sh 16. These 10 oz chambrays were awesome. 

As always, japanese / asian guys can pull off so much more than us westerners.

The duck was the better choice imo. It's pretty soft for its weight and way more comfortable than the thick denim.
