End of an Era: Greensboro’s Hudson’s Hill physical store is closing. 😪 I’ve spent some time in the store. From getting my first foray into denim there to getting my denim hemmed before I left for the Navy, I was treated great there. Thanks Evan for the memories if you’re reading this!

SUPERDENIM SMALL QUESTIONS THREAD (Use instead of making new threads)
mlwdp replied to minya's topic in superdenim
Started to make a thread on this style. What’s the history behind the M-35 style of denim? Anybody here know much about this style? This will be the style I’m going for as my next denim purchase and would like to know more about it. -
Of course, Red Wing would discontinue this style. Bought these at the Red Wing store in North Carolina. Had these for a few years now. Cotton based but built like tanks! My favorite socks.

Danner has increased their prices too. I remember when you could get a pair of mtn lights for $300-330. Now, they’re $400-440. Wow. Same with Whites. Semi Dress has gone up and so has a pair a smoke jumpers.

Ordered another pair of Nonnative socks, this time in almost full wool. These are very thick and sturdy so these will be worn during the colder months.

Sadness for North Carolina. 😞

Brother Bridge is good and for their price point, their offerings don’t stay in stock for long. Another brand to look into is Wheelrobe.

Thick in the calf area and thin in the forefoot. They’re made out of cotton and really thin overall (the sock). I wore them with my engineers earlier today. Would I buy again? Probably not. I’m sure there’s better socks out there. These are a dressier sock that would go well with a Oxford style shoe or a fancier dress boot.
