  1. Congratulations @Broarkto your early Christmas present! All the best to your wife and the little one!
  2. Will it fade my jeans as well? Or at least create fades on my pictures for the sought after +reps?!
  3. https://dig-it.media/lightning/article/854122/?fbclid=PAZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAaa2ATTLoFp3D1bES5FUfbo5DuCXAbf1jDJ_HWKf54jLNVzaO2f3DKqMsK4_aem_Ltac3PkXAA4TbDMlOSNNJQ @Dr_Heech something for you 😉
  4. No idea, I haven't handled them. The sizing info is based on discussion with Naoki from BEARS. The jeans feel more like Warehouse than Denime, especially the latter interpretations. That said, I really like the 220 model and the original 224 denim has a similar feel to the old Orizzonti 66 denim. Also a very prominent twill.
  5. ^they look great! Will you remove the patch?
  6. The 221 is a BigE model, it shares details from the 220 and 224 as an in-between model. The 224 comes with the "standard 66 denim" and an "Ishikawadai denim". The cut should be the same but the latter is slimmer in the legs. Oh and an ecru and black version is also available of the 224 model.
  7. Resolute would like to have a word with you 😅
  8. Already wishing you a 'Merry Christmas', Happy Holidays or whatever you want to celebrate!
  9. @kiya did you ever write about the whole 'The Steam Locomotive' story?
  10. TCB is carried by a lot of shops http://tcbjeans.com/shop
  11. Creative way to cover the red tab 😅
  12. My guess: they haven't got them at all yet. Just prepared the page once they arrive.
  13. It's a new, probably additional model. Up to now only available from TCB directly but other shops will carry them as well.
  14. @Double 0 Soul Yamane Industries is the brand of Hidehiko Yamane's son. He took over Evisu (probably not very sucessful), then it was sold to a Chinese (?) company and after that he founded Yamane Industries. So it's a different brand. Yamane-san himself has the brand "Yamane Art". Bot these new brands are quite similar to old Evisu. Wasn't Yamane just a spin-off from Hidehiko Yamane?
  15. I simply love grey sweaters. Have a bunch of 'em. Arket - FW - Duke - RW
  16. Speaking of 714, wearing mine today
  17. We have some bad news...and we have some good news. Bad news first: We won't be able to make the December 21st start date. This is mainly because the contest leather patches with the new die won't be ready in time to let Simone send out the jeans as planned. If he pushes the shipping further back, we will interfere with the crazy amounts of packages during Christmas and thus the risk of delays or lost packages might go up. We don't want to risk this. This is also a reason we think January 1st (new year, new jeans) won't work as well. Good news: We found the perfect alternative start date...*drum roll*... January 17th! As you all probably know, January 17th is the Italian "World Pizza Day" (https://www.gruppouna.it/en/magazine/world-pizza-day#:~:text=World Pizza Day is celebrated,Neapolitan tradition and ancient customs.) So which day would be more appropriate?!
  18. A small gem for smaller people https://www.fromjapan.co.jp/japan/en/auction/yahoo/input/h1164412267/
  19. ^ that's a neat idea! Simone is still working on the rivets but it seems he is on a good way!
  20. So based on the previous contests we would do the following: keep the jeans raw/un-washed until the start date verify the "raw-ness" by taking a picture of the jeans with a newspaper or use the digital version of it after that you are allowed to wash/wear/stash away. Whatever makes you happy We are still unsure about the real start date. If December 21st does not work because shippings may be delayed, we will push the start date to January 1st.
