I was thinking more the '45 tux but yes indeed your tendencies are noted 😉 I'm uncomfortable the SCSC '42 jeans don't have a matching jacket... yet, at least @beautiful_FrEaK / @JohnM / other folks with some or all of the collectibles issued to date... you planning to build up the set if / when SC produce more? For visible mending work, the thought did cross my mind to try and do it myself as it is indeed my own clothing and why not just add your own personal flair? But I suppose I'm a poser at the moment like those who buy already distressed or paint splattered clothing. I guess I'm a bit lazy and rather have someone else do whatever fun creative spin they can on these holes. -

I completely agree here. Getting hemmed to the exact length from the get go is difficult. Especially if you take into account that each pattern fit differently, that jeans are forever shrinking and that different shoes/boots usually look better with different length of inseam. What works well with chinos for me is hemming them again after about a year of wear. I did it with denim as well but than you lose the beautiful roping that are created to that point. fading a pair of denim is always a win some lose some situation.
