I just picked up a pair of black 66s. I'll post some pics. I love the jeans. So much. Was a curiosity purchase turned into a perfect fit.
-
I bought a pair of old-model S510xx raw, but have only washed once to shrink so far. I lost about 3ish inches from the first wash though. I'll report back the next time they get a wash @1fookntitefd

@Jared_Lee Beautiful. I also really like how the patch has relaxed and actually become nicer looking with wear. I saw a similar transition on the patch of my 1108xx after a handful of washes. The wrinkled, dried-up leather softens nicely.

My size 31 220A measures exactly 79" in the waist after several washes/dries, if that helps.
-
@Thicolas Rage Perfect fit on both items! We have the same chest, shoulder, and waist measurements, so it's good to know if I get a 20s jacket at some point!
-
Ah, interesting. The newer heavyweight one I got is a nice fabric and cut.
-
If you order from them directly, you can probably ask them to hem the sleeves. I'm not sure if it's a thing, but it's worth asking in the order notes.
-
TCB jackets tend to have longer sleeves than comparable jackets from other brands. From my knowledge, the 20s denim is prone to shrinking more with the first couple of washes, so I can imagine the sleeve and body length will be affected by that. If I had to guess, the longer sleeve length seems to be part of their intended fit because they tend to prefer the slouchier, looser look from shots all over their website and social media.

I'm assuming the tee is The Rite Stuff and if so, I just got their heavyweight and its immediately my favorite.

Here's one more post with some better lighting. These show the actual color more clearly. The 50s jeans I'm wearing are about a month old, and there have been no washes, so both of these are pretty close to their original color, plus a bit of fading. The 30s denim is super, super dark to start. It almost reminds me of SDA 100 denim in its hand feel and color. It is fading somewhat quickly, which the pictures can't show, especially compared to my Full Count type 2, which is almost 2 years in and is taking its time.

Some detail shots of the 30s jacket. I'm super happy with the fit and material. I've been trying to get as much wear as possible every day for at least some length of time. The last shot is a close-up of the 50s and 30s together.

I ignore the hype, release cycle, and webshops and simply enjoy what I own. Saying that Warehouse "ruined" Denime because they are releasing a variety of iterations of the products in a short time period is a pretty narrow definition of "ruined," IMO.
-
I spent all day yesterday in my 0105s, and yeah, they are easily the most comfortable pair of jeans I own.
-
If we're talking about TCB- Withered Fig and Franklin and Poe still stock them, I believe. Edit: Franklin and Poe does not, unsure why I thought they did 😅
-
That is some beautiful marbling, @smoothsailor
-
Confirming that yes they still do, and you can order through whatever their built-in proxy service is... From Japan iirc Edit: meant to add that I ordered a pair of 0105's as recently as last month at domestic prices.

Very much the same for me. I tried the RW Williams Craftsman as my first Chelsea, and even in their widest width, I found them a bit too narrow, both aesthetically and in fit. I think others here have given some good recs. Also, Blundstone's "Dress" boot is actually not dressy and pretty nice looking if you just want something casual that you don't need to worry about.
-
Keep with them. That cut will look great on you once the denim is broken in. Trust the process.
-
Once you go laceless, it's hard to look back. Lofgrens are definitely on the higher end of the price range for Chelseas, and they are a bit overbuilt, kinda like an engineer boot with a shorter ankle and no strap. I also really like the RM WIlliams Turnout boot if you want something a bit sleeker and also about half the price.
-
Freshly conditioned Lofgren Chelsea boots. These have been my daily footwear since last December, and will likely remain that way. The only thing I don't do in them is play drums, because the pedals chew up the toe area. Learned that lesson on a pair of IR's a long time ago

I have my black 1108s that I should wear more often. Black to grey fades look sooooo good.
-
I think the fit on those black 505s is perfect! They definitely give off a 90s hardcore punk vibe with the slimmer fit.
-
They start off a little stiffer than FC, which softens up during its first wear. Give the 50s about a week and they'll start to feel similar to the FC denim.
