^This! Imo it takes up room I would rather have as working space in the kitchen. And for 2€ for a good espresso it's hard to justify one of these beasts, for me atleast...

some "wall-art" I would say. my wife got the frame for me and we finally got around to this over the Weekend. first pressing of the album, officially a bootleg, made by Bangkok records, which seems to be defunct or even just started for this project and closed down afterwards. vinyls are stored separately so they stay playable.

re Home Espresso Machines: an old Buddy of mine got one made by ECM years ago for about 2k, made great coffee with it but spent half his afternoons cleaning that thing and playing around on it to dial it in. at that cost, at least for me, it's easier to go out for espressi and have them made for me. great thing, for sure, but not worth the hassle, imo... re grinders: grind size and constant results are key. we got a baratza encore grinder for our wedding and it works like a charm. No more fiddling around with the handgrinder (hario skerton), which is way faster and more time effizient. also not a super expensive one, 120€ to 150€ I think.

    Pherrow's

^ the denim is nice for sure. feels still pretty rigid and stiff despite these being 4-5 years old and worn and washed a fair bit. stitching is poly, I think, so might hold up well also.

^this exactly. used to be a bialetti guy aswell, but our new range is an induction, since they're alumium they don't work on it. since our move we couldn't bei arsed to get a new one which is compatible. cost twice as much and the other stuff works well enough.

^might geht yourself one of those perma-filters with a mesh sieve? Mine cost me about 10€, I don't have to buy new filters every few weeks and the coffee is way bettee than any machine-made filter coffee I've had. let's U control ur dosage, is portable and easy to clean. definitely worth it imo In general I found most manual methods to produce better results than most machines for home use so, plus they are more efficient room-wise.

    Pherrow's

anyone still wearing their pherrow's? seems like there was a bit of interest in them a while back. been browsing the DC4 website for a bit and they seem to stock a few models now. the yellow rivet on one pocket has been replaced it seems with copper colored ones, I think. the old arcs are nowhere to be found, sadly...

this thing is a beauty for the kitchen. Beeketal BPO35-1 pizza oven. the version with a higher roof so breads fit in. goes up to 350 °C, which is mighty fine for my favorite pizza styles. got it 2017/2018 as a gift to myself for finishing my bachelor thesis. sat around at my parents' place until I finally got it to our place last weekend. Got sporadical use for making pizza and bread when I visited or my dad was in the mood to bake. didn't have the room for it the last few years, sadly.
