Yep.. these seem to be without exception, sold with ticket over flasher ^Tacked in 3x places, 1x horizontal, 2 at 45° The pair on Insta are different.. 3x horizontal nylon tacks, ticket under flasher If they fit.. I'd still wear them without hesitation.. they look like damn good fakes.

You do see fake SC regularly on eBay.. but never anywhere near this^ good.. just generic jeans with Sugarcane branding .. some even say "Sugarcane Made in China" screenprinted on.
-
They look fake af! To be fair.. the jeans don't look too bad, but the patch, flasher and guarantee ticket look terrible!!

I used to get a teaspoon of sugar and caramalise it over the gas ring.. let it cool then lick it like a sweet metalic lolly

I don't live too far from an area called the 'Rhubarb Triangle' ( @MJF9 is even closer still ) famed for supplying 90% of the worlds rhubarb.. when i was a kid, our parents would give you a stick of uncooked rhubarb and a cup of sugar to dip in and eat.. like a vegetable sherbet dip-dab .. it kept us quiet .. i much prefer a crumble.

From a visual pov.. i think a blue denim jacket looks much better with blue jeans than it does with black jeans .. for the same reason that i think a heavily worn denim jacket looks much better with heavily worn jeans.. i'm not at all keen on the shiney new o/w jacket with a battered old pair of jeans look.. it's not like any of us don't have numerous pairs of jeans or jackets so if i was wearing black jeans (not that i own black jeans) i wouldn't choose a blue denim jacket, i would choose something else. From my perspective it's more to do with the thoughts it conjures up.. there was a time here in the UK during my formative years of the mid-80s when most of the double denim i/you saw worn was by folks larping the metal scene.. emulating bands like Metallica, Anthrax.. et al' . An era of tight fitting black denim with pale blue washed washed out Typ3's .. god, i fkin hated this era, i hated the music, i hated the back combed hair but most of all, i hated the fashion.. made worse because Def Leopard were fkin massive in the city.. then the late 80s happened and there was a seismic shift in culture (thank fuck) new fashions, new drugs, new music which created a chasm between the old and the new.. Seeing black jeans worn with a blue denim jacket will always trigger these memories for me. We all carry this bias because clothing speaks to us.. it gives us an insight to the person you are and black / blue denim to me says this^ but i also appreciate, without this unreasonable bias .. you're fine to swing blue / black.. it's just not for me.

Don't listen to him @aho.. this is either a bot-post, a complete and utter mental breakdown or a hideous dream he's just awoken from. Just remember one very simple rule.. Never, ever, ever.. wear black jeans with a blue denim jacket.. ever!! Florals and stripes would be a lesser crime against fashion

I've always been a sucker for harmonies but Brian Wilson in in front of a gospel choir is just fucking heavanly 😍

I’m not ‘bike packing’ as such so I have no bike luggage, just this small 13l hike/bike daypack.. https://www.sim.works/products/chips-bag-13l?srsltid=AfmBOopyy3VLlLzF2XprK4U4iw-ztV_B6TUMqUlMNYm3FXSO_gfst_wH It’s only just big enough to hold a single season down bag, tarp and the pole ..which is all I need for a single nights camp without food.. my rides are usually 60% road, 30% trail and 10% climbing up rocks with the bike on my shoulder, thankfully the bike is light af.. but it would be impossible to shoulder the bike laden down with luggage. If I sized up to something large enough to carry the mat, it would be a 40- 50l alpine pack.. way too big for a single nights camp but I might try using the bungees on the Chips Bag to hold the mat if I go further afield.

Erm.. less than you sold the Samurai collection for but more than you sold the CSF collection for

Weather was just too nice to pass up.. Traveling light so strapped a rollmat to my bike.. using one SimWorks strap and one vintage 70s Snakebelt because someone (who will remain nameless) only bought one strap Not great for the knees but i was only going a couple of miles up the road.. Sun setting over the Burbage valley Looks like a nice spot.. last time i camped here, it was during the beast from the east.. Only had space for a couple of beers but i had a few mushrooms i picked in the autumn S&M Bikes, Chucks, Vintage Champion, Supreme Work Shorts and PHD down vest which doubled as my pillow Goodnight bike.. goodnight denim people..

Google used to be great.. we had a symbiotic relationship, i knew they were r*ping me but it worked brilliantly! I tried duckduck but it sucked in comparison, then maybe 5yrs ago, i bagged google entirely and swapped Gmail for Protonmail but that was too klunky which irritated me. Now google sucks, it's no better or worse than any other search bar.. initially i thought it was a cookie preference thing.. ie- i used to research denim daily, especially Japanese sites and google always knew exactly where i was going.. When i had a few years denim hiatus, i thought it had forgot?.. alas, it never recovered and researching has become impossible.. my brain works better with image as opposed to txt but searching google images (for let's say variety's of Sugarcane jeans) it's either images of sugarcane plants or links to retailers of Sugarcane jeans.. nothing of any interest to me.. -

This'll make you laugh @ATWM .. a English friend of mine has been living in Killarney for the last 10yrs, he lives in a converted outbuilding on a remote farm in the middle of their National park and works as a mountain leader, guide ect.. most of the folks he takes out are American tourists visiting Ireland.. one Saturday i called him at 1pm.. the phone rang for ages until he eventually picked up "hellloooo" i said, shit man, you sound like you've just woken up?.. "yep you've just got me out of bed" .. i said, what the hell, it's 1pm and i know you have no social life.. Turns out he had a booking to take an American couple kayaking on one of the lakes.. he asked if they'd done it before and they said "yes when we were a bit slimmer".. they were both 300lbs+ it took him a while to even get them in the kayaks.. 500m out she capsized, her huband tried to help her get back in the kayak and he capsized too so my friend told them both to just float on their lifejackets, he towed both their kayaks to shore.. then swam back out and swam in pulling the women.. then swam out again to rescue the man.. got home exhausted and went straight back to bed -

100% YT is completely unusable .. you can't even have the 'history' turned on.. if you accidentally watch something your YT feed is completely fucked.. for instance, around a year ago, i watched 5mins of an American couple doing a walking tour around Sheffield neighbourhoods, they tried the local delicacies, visited the Peak District and so on.. Then everytime i turned on YT (which was usually to post some music here) there was folks (usually fat, bald and white) walking around Sheffield neighbourhoods.. always the most deprived and poverty stricken, the streets covered in rubish, emphasizing that these used to be proud working class neighbourhoods, but now they're just full of immigrants.. with strong implications that the rubish and deprivation was cultural.. i had to trace my actions back to figure out what i'd done to deserve this xenophobic discourse.. Oh that's right!? i watched some Americans eating fish, chips & peas.. -

Looking to the future.. i think we need 2 internets.. this www. piece of shit which has been completely ruined by algorithms and capitalism and a second internet, entirly free from advertising where we can all chat and share our interests.. funded by fines imposed on big tech under the digital marketings act? -
