I'm on a leather jacket frame of mind right now, and this leads me to wonder whether FW has not stopped or slowed significantly its leatherwear output?

Very nice! I love the B-6 he made for me. The collar on yours is a nice flourish, but the zipped pockets would bug me. On the subject of JC and GW, I visited him today. He's a very congenial guy and of course absolutely passionate about his craft. My slot is coming up and I placed an order for one of his civilian jackets. I did try the cross zip Mojave I had tried on in 2021. It still fits. Too bad it has an owner...

All - what are the drawbacks of cross zipped jackets (double riders and the like)? Thinking of getting one but I could get something more traditional instead.

In my experience, the regular weight sweatshirts are either tighter to start with or more prone to shrink. I've multiple heavy weight sweats that still fit me but the one regular weight piece I bought I ended up selling.

Generally the "work" type shirts will fill fuller than the "cowboy" type shirts...? I have a few pounds too many and I fit fine in Iron Heart or SDA denim work shirts. -

I do like hickory, but it's not always easy to wear. My favorite is Indigofera's, which has a light brown base.

PSA, the Storm Cats Drive jacket is very tight in the waist. That's my only jacket which fits comfortably in the shoulders but for which I need to leave not one but 2 buttons undone. Got a size 44, vs 42 or 40 on other brands.

I just bought the TCB Storm Cat Driver from Spiral, and it was very efficient and fast. Recommended.

Other quicky for you. Loop & Weft looks like they have Western sizing, is that correct? I generally get L in Japanese tees, but the measurements for L&W tees suggest I should get M ... unless I'm missing something (shrinkage maybe?) -
Indigofera is a brand based out of Stockholm, Sweden. It's just over 10 year old, having been launched in '07. They follow a 50's / 60's "cowboy" design. Their products are made mostly in Portugal but the fabrics are sourced out of Japan.
