    Motoratory hand-dyed blue sneakers ~8 years old. (Is it still division of moto?) Indigo laces from Buaisou, the original leather lace snapped off couple of years ago... The original color of the leather coming through nicely as it ages, vibram sole still going strong, really solid pair of work.

    Rather baffling that they choose to use sanforized denim for their high end natural indigo jeans, unsanforized fabric for their more affordable line...

    Going down memory lane... ~10 years old boro sashiko old man & the sea hat, arguably still one of their best pieces. Very well faded now.... Added the vertical stitching myself just for fun some time ago

    Shoes that look stagnant with time Got these some years before the pandemic, feels like nothing much change at all. Seriously very hard wearing leather (bison), fitting for a "work" shoes.

    Posting these here for posterity sake (good light currently)... Feels like the brand has gone downhill since Toshikiyo-san passing & their majority stakes bought by LVMH, pissing off Jon also definitely bad move on Kiro's part. Recently had a chance to visit their Sapporo outlet & there is nothing compelling anymore, really feels like they are stagnant creatively now....very sad...

    Since re-discovering vinyl, I had actually appreciate album as an art form more than just series of songs put together. Too expensive to buy "single" vinyl with two songs on them so I had to be more particular when adding 1 to my collections. It's been a great platform for discovering other forms of music also (Jazz, city pop, local Indonesian music, etc)

    Recently pick this bowling inspired shoes from Radiance Blue Shanghai, it's collaboration effort between Hsin Wei (founder of RB) & Rock Yeh (shoemaker behind Feit, visvim, etc). Very unique choice of leather (kangaroo) & shape, excited to see how it evolves...
