@AlientoyWorkmachine Or a pair of original redlines.

    This.

I’m starting to think the least special detail of ‘special’ edition jeans is the cone mills denim.  Can’t seem to find any special edition jeans not made with cone. I like the denim but it’s rarity since the factories closure hasn’t increased as much as you’d expect.

They do look like nice jeans but, at that price point I’d opt for the standard pair regardless.

    It is

Any in any event the plating will only be a couple microns tops - it’ll make next to no difference regarding heat. File under the same nonsense at shiny/matte sides of aluminium foil

But you can still put your jeans in the freezer when they smell right? Right!? ;)

  4. I was walking to the local shop and he was coming the other way. Spotted it easily. I stopped him and his girlfriend and F’d-and-blinded at him telling him it was mine, stolen etc etc, and that I was getting it back now.
He looked shocked. Cobbled together a story about buying it in a charity shop, and that they were from London yada-yada. He said he paid £10 for it. I only had a £20. He handed it over on the spot.
I’d also stopped a passer by and asked them to call the police, they looked confused too, and obviously didn’t want to get involved. Think that added nicely to the drama as well

He was wearing a t-shirt and holding a jacket so I didn’t leave him shirtless.
To give you an indication of who they were, I overheard his girlfriend saying ‘we can get dinner now we have some money’ as they walked off.
All in all it worked out fine.

  5. Stolen from my washing today, Brighton (Hove), UK.

Original run, red line selvage - ISC work shirt - 10yrs+ Old, size large (fits medium), very well worn - faded & creased elbows and collar etc etc, button on cuff changed. Original (different) white label with eagle.

If anyone sees this online, or in person please let me know.
Can’t really replace it at this point. I’ve traveled across the world in it, and worn it for many years.

Not sure if it was by chance or specific. They left my jeans and other similar items. Maybe just wanted a shirt, or this specific shirt?

    Any help appreciated. Thanks

(I’ll upload a picture if I find one)

Posted on Reddit, and asked everyone I could think to locally.

Please feel to share/ story /repost this on line if you think it might help.

    Thanks

  6. I have had a couple of pairs or Roy jeans. Starting with the RS1 and RS2  and ended with the Big Bro 2’s.
I missed the initial ‘og’ Roy’s with custom chain stitching by about two days, didn’t get in on the RoyXCone pair, and ended up selling those RS1 as they were the wrong size.
I’ve had a couple of other pairs along the way which went due to being unemployed (for list price or below if worn), so in the end I have the RS2 in Nihon Menpu and the BB1002 in Cone black seed. The details and fit are great. I’d buy more if I had more legs

I also have the first chambray which is really nice.

I’ve chatted with Roy a few times over the years and always enjoyed his reply’s.

Hope he makes more jeans in future.

So has Roy moved to Japan to make jeans? Saw his story recently, I couldn't tell if he has setup his house to home all his machines.

He’s visiting the Buaisou team, they bought all his machines a couple of years ago. Looks like he’s helping out setting them up and spending some time learning about their indigo dyeing.
