mree - those Barca pics bring back memories for me, all food related. my favourite were the markets just off Las Ramblas, great produce to make awesome meals with - best garlic i've ever come come across, EVER.
have had to make some repairs recently on my IH-555's. have patched & sewn the cuffs due to shoe wear but today did some preventative medicine on a burgeoning knee rip. although my trusty Elna sewing machine (30yrs old) does the job nicely, as the 2nd photo shows using a non industrial machine certainly has it limitations in terms of getting suitable sewing-arm working room whilst using an 18oz fabric. my repair job may not win any awards, but it beats 'entrusting' my jeans to a local 'tailor'...

i'd say the crotch blowout is down to how you're sizing if those pics are anything to go by. they're looking pretty snug in the nether regions, and the whole top block in general. if you want to make the crotch last longer i'd suggest buying something that fits you better.
not saying that to be harsh but it looks like you're forcing yourself into those jeans when a larger size would be more suitable.

HC-SF-21 challenge check-in Part 1: Kangaroo w/ Fetta & Roast Beetroot & Sweet Potato Salad
Nina in her 'Van Halen' leggingsFor those that didn't believe the part about eating Kangaroo. It's cheap, it's daaaaaamn tasty, but can be tricky to cook. When we bought our place last year, ripping out the kitchen was absolutely mandatory. I managed to design the re-fit and get it built, and oddly this is one of my favourite parts.Believe it or not, this is actually borderline overcooked. Kangaroo starts to get tough quite early in the cooking process so raw in the middle is best.Voila!21 -
very nice Ande. very nice indeed. great train tracks ========
i took the infrequent washing route with my old Cobra's but will take a different tack with my SR6's once i wear them more often.

that is awkward... but it fits so that's good.

congrats ignaurus. as a relatively new dad myself i can just about recall those early days - all very surreal. i do recall having to wash my jeans ahead of 'schedule' after they got 'stuff' all over them during the birth.

if only i could justify owning the Wolf too - love that, especially with the natural indigo.
@kemalcaesar - perfect fit you got there. congrats. the weather is shit here in sydney at the moment so mine is getting some more action. can't believe i got mine a year ago.

My FH's were fine until I gave them a hot soak a few months ago. They came out pretty tight in the thighs and never stretched back out so I just find them uncomfortable to wear now unfortunately It's a real shame because I do love the denim. But really, really looking foward to having some room to move again!
Looking at pics of people's pairs on here, it looks like Andes tend to end up with holes in pockets/crotch a bit quicker than FH/Sams/ect? Or am I wrong?
different strokes for different folks

they're also vanity sized by the sounds of things

apc's from my understanding stretch like crazy. AW denim does stretch but nothing out of the ordinary. you'll get half an inch in the thigh without too much trouble.

the mustang is pretty similar to bsp so that would probably be your best bet

depends entirely on how your jeans fit you now, and whether they've got a stretch component in the denim or are just straight cotton. half an inch laid flat won't make a huge difference - just depends on how much extra room you're after.

it's not actually that far in distance but it's all narrow lanes and windy roads, hair-pin bends etc so it can be quite tiring. but the roads that wind up over the hills are just awesome. my favourite is Macquarie Pass further towards Bowral, as you just ascend very quickly into fog & cloud and lush forest and then descend just as quick - unless you get caught behind a truck and in that case you're screwed for a while.

the amount of leather goods up for grabs in south america is staggering.
