  1. Off-topic

Why would you want to get pomade out of your hair?  :P  (Currently using Lockhart's Goon Grease, so that the pomade stays.)

Off topic, just received these thanks for recommendation

  2. I just love too much how it looks when cotton arcs like flat head uses disintegrates, and you can't see that at all with tonal arcs!

Simon would you be in on these?

I agree. Tonal arcs look good in the long long run, but contrasting looks great from start, and even when they wear off.

Ed, chime in and let us know if you're going forth or what.

  3. This could be done in two years, enough time to make preparations and to seal the deal

Couldn't imagine it would come together faster than a year, and think that would be a good amount of time to get dwc jeans established and rotate them in.

Max did pretty good with his ues and hwdc jeans on rotation

  4. Ahhh own does make more sense, but after 15 years I'd hope it would look different than that. With that, I hope I can get my jacket like that, maybe a bit more washed out.

  5. Yeh sure and that's fair enough. There is something to be said for old reliable I guess. But in a market that is so saturated... I'd be hard pressed to stick to the same day in day out. I know that's not what you're saying, everyone has a rotation, but where there's one staple it's also in my opinion pretty good to have maybe one something as a wild card as well.

Brand popularity does fluctuate granted, just as SDA is having a bit of a renaissance now, FC had a lull which picked up again maybe with the Signet special release and it's brought popularity back - that's good. No issues there. I guess all I'm saying is, once you've felt one fabric, once you've faded one pair out, then there's good opportunity to work on something new. I don't think I'd buy anything the same twice*.

*(says the man who has three pairs of Omnigod.... but in my defence I did overdye one pair black...)

I'll fully concede that I thought the FC I tried superb - actually far more interesting than both the SC 1947 raw and WH 1001xx one wash that I tried, neither of which I was really overwhelmed by truth be told. But if nobody ever showcases something a bit new or individual, no-one else will bother to try and as a result could well be missing out on a new, welcome brand experience.

Pretty hipster of you there hog ;)

  6. Excellent to see these charles, have been eyeing these for my gf for the longest time. But not sure how she feels about denim at that weight, would love to hear some feedback from yours.

  7. a couple more details regarding the denim shirts.

our run will have a special "TCB for Sufu" label.

Inoue san will make sizes up to 46, for the big guys out there.

I should have more details soon!

Oh man oh man oh man!

Can't wait for this. Be interested to see the snaps he uses on it too.

  8. Yeah Bradl's X-33 are amazing.  Shame they lost so much nep through the process of wear though.

There is still a little hanging out under the cuff, but yeah I feel yeah. I really wish I could find another pair. I am sure foxy has on ;)

Well, I looked up SJW on the Internet and am not sure how relevant it is here:

With your tight rhymes I thought you would've been urban enough to use this.

@aries, please do post them have only seen mine and houstonchris's

  9. I have heard about all of the native females disappearing, but totally forgot about that. That is disgusting that shit like that happens to them. My friends grandfather was part of the Catholic church schooling abuse that went on 60 or so years ago and hearing what he went through was just horrifying and I couldn't imagine having to live through anything like that.

But why are they stuck in such a rut? A female native with a child has all the benefits, breaks, and support that anyone could ever want. It seems like they focus on everything negative happening with their race, but don't want to put the next foot forward to move on. I worked with a native who came from the states and he was absolutely floored and everything that is provided to them here, and how they still seem to struggle. It's hard when your parents and their parents all have such a negative outlook on society, to really break out and change from that.

Sorry, I'll post some pics of my jawnz later to contribute to actual denim

  10. I don't want to turn this into a debate, but do you really feel natives are denied all those things? It seems that they have every opportunity to go forth and run with it but the generational shit fall holds them back. Coming from Calgary, the natives aren't viewed the best so maybe my pov is skewed, but i would like to hear why you think that. Can PM me if you don't want to clog this thread up
