    Black jeans lovers!!!

My skull 5010 black jeans from 2007 are white weft. Unfortunately the black dye is a permanent type so they don't fade. They look great but I'm no longer able to fit them

Yup that's what I figured. Rokker uses a 14oz which gets them 6s on the CE slide test. I guess its more like 50 or 60% dyneema. 4s is required for level 1 cert. I think its equivalent to a 75 meter slide.

Made With 12oz USA Cone Mills Dyneema® Denim (92% Cotton, 8% Dyneema) huh interesting wonder how many yards of this stuff is left.. Not sure how 12oz 8% dyneema stacks up versus this Rokker brand. Guess I can ask Rokker and find out.

the UK one? Aren't they just a retailer of Ironheart not the mfg. themselves?

I'm looking to get some jeans made from Dyneema (UHMW) core yarns for motorcycle slide protection. Apparently these jeans have tested higher in abrasion resistance over all other competing single layer jean makeups (kevlar, cordura, etc) at 6+ seconds. https://www.motolegends.com/rokker-pant-slide-times UHMW/Dyneema seems like a fairly easy material to get a hold of and not that difficult to work with so it would be cool to see some jeans from Ironheart or similar motorcycle branded company. I'm not sure who makes the yarn for these companies that make these jeans but the prospective company would have to find that UHMW core cotton wrapped yarn to use.

Shoes that look better with age...

Yeah I actually just ordered a wesco motor patrol last boot in 10.5D a few days ago. https://www.wescoboots.com/builder/StockBoot.aspx?id=Mister_Lou Has a narrower shaft and tighter heelcup too. Hope they work!

This pair of 220 Carmel jeans is really stunning. I'm not usually a fast fader but these are coming in brilliantly. I almost want to buy a few more pairs so I'll have a lifetime supply.

yeah all the time unfortunately. I usually break out the iron and iron both sides with lots of steam. seems to work ok but never fully gets rid of it.

That MF jean looks great. Is the stitching a pure cotton thread on that jean?

Has anyone noticed how their rear pockets where they fold over (interior of the pocket bottom) aren't cut very close to the stitching? I've only noticed this on one other pair.. a $35 pair of 501s. In my opinion this is an overlooked detail most other brands do well. For whatever reason my pair is missing that close cut. The consequence of course is that this extra material fades through.

Has anyone worn that Ironheart silver moto chain bracelet? Does it pull on arm hair as such that it pinches?
