Went with one-wash to get all/majority of the shrinkage out of the way from the get go. As mentioned on the TCB thread, my washer/drier also has a tendency to set a giant crease which I'd like to avoid in the initial shrinkage. Likely doesn't make a difference whichever route you decide to take though!

CSF remains likely the most hardcore straight repro, however I do like the different variations and flavors that other shops bring to the table. @Flash I do wish you'd join the TCB contest, but I get it, you've found your flavor! (Ooe being my personal favorite expression)

Hilariously I've gone quite opposite spectrum in the last 10 years...Light wear and regular washing is more the norm for me now

Planning on wearing mine over sized and hemmed short. Will likely still be cuffing (38 x 26 LOL) Really wish I had funds for the full tux, but furlough life ain't easy

@volvo240thebest but have you taken to running in jeans yet? I did so for a while to break in my Sugar Cane 1966's back in 2009-2010; Fades were crazy but wasn't worth the sweat bath long term 

+1 on sizing up for me, comfort is king 

Gah....really want in on the full tux but will likely only be getting the jeans, though this is pretty much the exact jacket I've been waiting for 

Just finished the live stream and wanted to say thanks to volvo and the TCB crew! This is shaping up to be the best contest yet, and I'm impressed by the details and comradery all around! Looking forward to starting this, can't believe how fast TCB is able to turn this all around.

Crazy it faded so quickly but very cool effect

All of my cotton socks have disintegrated over time, developed holes, ripped in the piping, etc.

All of my wool socks are completely intact, even after 10+ years of wear. Worth the upfront "investment" over time IMO!

For anyone who isn't aware of the "happenings" on the previous TCB contest, every single person had to return their pair of jeans to TCB for disposal due to threat of lawsuit by FC due to the arcs used. As you can imagine, this sucked for all contestants who had months of wear on their jeans who also now had to pay shipping to send them back, but was even worse for TCB who were now on the bad side of an established Osaka 5 brand (remember this is a small niche denim world). Upsetting the elders is a no go!

Personally, I'm fine without arcs or even an arc stencil. Would be cool if provided, but I'm sure TCB would like to avoid any remnant of that headache! It'd also help keep the timeline on schedule. 

Haha for the life of me I couldn’t choose between 36 or 43...Sadly never ordered either but OAXX is the perfect standard fabric for them. 92 was also top 3 for sure

^Love that fabric! #91 is super soft and smooth by comparison. Anyone remember when Ooe used to send fabric samples in the mail?  Good times...

I remember years ago, around the time this pair came out, a couple of folks that were more plugged in behind the scenes seemed to know who he was though.
