all seams felled.
major seams chainstitched / waistband, pockets, j-stitch single needle.
hidden back pocket rivets.
no-scratch rivets elsewhere.
thick cotton thread.
mid- to low-rise w/ fitted seat.
good sized front pocket bags (a la imperial)
wide belt loops
plain old ecru selvage.

ddml:
from the picture, it looks like a standard machine-felled seam, but minus the chainstitch. some comments in other threads alluded to the 'canes felling being kinda wobbly and irregular because it was all hand sewn - do yours look like that up close?

so they went through the entire wash cycle, minus the spin?
if so, i'd say, yes, the appearance will probably change. and you will have lost some indigo, esp if you used a detergent.
a cold soak in plain water by itself won't really change dry denim -- it's the agitation that does it, and it sounds like you got some agitation.
that said, who cares? your jeans probably still look great, and they'll continue to break in over time. don't stress.

black metal does have heavy norse/neo-nazi/satanic influences though, you can't deny that. I figure i wont have to drop any names.

what's great, though, is when they occasionally stab each other to death...

pure comedy.

if this is an appropriate venue -- what was your total cost to get the jeans?

ddml:Quote:should it have read "sewed" or "sewn"?
shit.

since you used "are," the correct conjugation of sew is "sewn," i think...
if you'd said "the jeans 'were'..." then you could use either sewn or sewed.
i feel such pity for anyone trying to learn the english language.

khanate is james plotkin and one of the sunnO))) dudes, aldebaran are my friends tim and josh, and boris are some japanese folks with a nick drake fetish... none of whom - far as i know - are down with the nazis.
and petty genre-hating is just stupid - it's not like people who listen to doom (or, insert any genre) hate slayer and vice versa. everyone listens to everything... except, well, you?

if you don't already have the number, it's seven zero three - four one four - eight two zero two.
you don't necessarily need to talk to mauro - pretty much everyone knows the deal.

it will probably slow the fading/flaking of the indigo, but it won't maintain its 'sheen' through washes.
do a search for the levis a-types -- i believe there's a thread discussing a) that they're resin coated and that they're not breaking in very quickly.

yeah! fuck two whole genres!Quote:thumbs down. doom metal and black metal are horrendous.

more like, you know shit.
doom: i'll take me some khanate and some aldebaran. not a huge doom fan, but i'll get slow sometimes... boris never struck me as doom-y, though -- akuma no uta is the only record i have of theirs, but it's way busy...

your new era's got mad mind control... it made you buy it two sizes too big, forget to take the stickers off, and refuse to break the bill in...
sucka!

throw them in the freezer overnight, then take a toothpick or a safety pin and get the rest out... should flake right off.

nuts to overlocking.
that's probably my favorite part about my imperials, next to the fit... everything felled or turned in - zero serging.

get plenty of rest.
study in the mornings before the day's distractions set in.
drink a lot of water.
all the uppers you're on about will just make you spazz out and have difficulty focusing.
good luck with your exams!

is a "lap-felled seam" the same as a flat-felled seam?

same thing with me international... someone (minya?) had said that the NS wasn't nearly as slim as the Imperial Dukes, but my APCs were definitely slimmer. they've stretched quite a bit, but i don't think i'll ever be able to wear them with my boots - i can just get them over my calves as it is...Quote:just got my first pair of new standards, usually wear a 32, so I ordered a size 30
tight fit, but I assume they stretch out, didn't expect them to be so slim fitting though, from seeing other pics they didnt seem that slim fit, maybe Im gettin fat or something, but they are pretty slim, but they feel wonderful
