Dr, what a beautifully preserved 101-LJ! Thanks for posting the photos and measurements.

Thanks. Unfortunately the Lee Japan site doesn't allow for shipping to the US. Yeah, Son of Stag prices are crazy and they're sold out of most of items I would be interested in.
-
hey Dr.! Can you please share a link where current Lee Archive Japan denim is available? Thank you in advance!

John Chapman from Good Wear makes a great D-1 mechanics jacket in addition to his other offerings. It's a surprisingly lightweight but very warm jacket.

The original leather on my WWII garrison belt finally cracked and split. It took a while, but finally found a maker who could replicate the 1.75" wide brown leather as used on the original. Here's a photo with the original all brass buckle attached.

Thanks Allen. And thanks to my sister for her skills at repairing and patching them.

My old LVC 1947 555 501's from the 90's worn and repaired multiple times. They were my first pair of LVC denim so trying to keep them repaired and in service.

Dr, I know you're all set but here's a pick of the fly. These have a decently high rise of 11" for a sz 33 waist.
-
I ordered sz 33. When they arrive I'll check how the number of fly buttons.

Dr., I saw them as well and had to get a pair. I too need another pair of buckle backs like a hole in the head!
-
I bought them on sale from the RRL store on West Broadway about five or six years ago.
-
Digging my old RRL rough outs. Supposedly RRL worked with a Pennsylvania boot maker who had a contract supplying boots to the US Army in WWII.
