Gardener's has re-released a 1943 model, all iron laurel buttons, no rust proofing, flannel pocket bags, 35 inch inseam in one wash state: https://store.spiraljeans.jp/en-us/products/gardener_1943xx-コピー and a type 2 adjacent jacket, squared pockets, single row stitched pleats, very tapered: https://store.spiraljeans.jp/en-us/products/gardener_579xx-コピー Both seem to use all lemon thread and same denim. They both look really slick and I'd hope to see them on the forum.

Seems like it. On his site, the 47 model is also labelled s01xx. This one might be a 47 or another post war model, since his WW2 version omits the coin pocket rivets

These were the charts they showed us at Inspiration. Someone please let me know if sharing this is in bad taste

Definitely worth emailing them just to be certain. Could be a QC issue, could be an intentional quirk. I'm with you on the rivet though! Hope you find some resolution to this.

Man, those look great. Looking forward to seeing them post wash. What do you think of the taper from knee to hem? Surely they are still pretty wide at the leg opening

Yes, I believe the 2x1 was the $500 pair and the 3x1 was the $520 pair, but I may have that backwards. I’ll take a closer look to see which weave is which though.

For the 01? I had only checked on the price of vests and waist overalls. Picked up both bandanas as well but those felt like a bad deal after I had time to dwell on spending $120 for them😂
-
$500 for the version with the machine finished button openings (labeled 1124), $520 for the hand finished ones (0425). I’m not sure which denim each was as the language barrier was something to navigate
-
We grabbed two sizes, and each only had one fabric available - very limited stock. They’re not for me but I’m sure we will see both pairs on the forum very soon

It was a neat event and great meeting Ryo and Hiro. Very lovely people! They must have taken some inspiration from Levi’s recent release’s pricing, but the steep price seems more warranted here. The aged samples of the duck waist overalls were top notch as well but most sizes were picked clean just an hour after the doors opened.

Anyone who is planning to go to Inspiration LA tomorrow and is in or near the OC area, I have two 2 day passes and don’t plan to attend tomorrow and am happy to give them away. Double denim waist overall pic for relevance

Yes, please post when you get the chance. Were S&S's measurements not accurate for this run of SOA03?

Lovely colors, suits you well!

Check out @kenanmandrup on Instagram. His pair isn't super faded but he posts them pretty often.

Levis definitely has more reach than just the repro/heritage/whatever folks so maybe 800 is limited and will sell out quickly in their eyes? But that price tag would definitely turn off some prospective buyers...
-
Aren't you forgetting to include whatever's in that mug?

I'll be at Inspiration both days likely, already spoke with some folks but anyone else that is planning to go, I'd love to connect and try to say hi in person.

Can anyone confirm if TWC makes a size 29 in their jeans?

I will be as well, planning to check out OA’s setup

The background on your chat is fitting for talking with Seiichiro!

Lovely stuff, but a bit confused why Blue Cylinder never seems to stock half the things in each collection. AW24/25 had a lot of cotton duck stuff, but I could only see them listed on Rakuten through independent retailers. What gives?
