SUPERDENIM SMALL QUESTIONS THREAD (Use instead of making new threads)

If no one else has stepped up, yes I can do that. -
THIS OR THAT? (Use me for all your Should I Buy...? questions)

@jkbrwn Ah I see. I thought you meant brown fabric, rather than stitching. In any case, I'm a fan of the FC WW2 cuts. I have pants & jacket from the last version they did in the recent past. -

I have the FC WW2 jeans (not brown) & TCB 50s. The TCB 50s proved too low rise for me & are consequently for sale (size 36😉). The Fullcount are much roomier in the top block, & wider in the leg. Much more my cup of tea although many here love the TCB 50s. PS. I didn't know there were brown denim FCs. Tempting... (Where are you seeing those?) -
I get my hat repairs done at Joyride Vintage/ Garrahan Hat Co. in Orange, CA. Last time I was there I bought this latest addition to my collection. It's a Knox. I didn't yet have a hat with a turned up brim & this one filled the need.

Glad it wasn't too serious. Scary though...

Bottom half same as the last few posts. Newly acquired John Gluckow shirt (from S&S, first time in the new Berkeley store). RMC undershirt. Vintage hat also recently acquired.

Congrats on the acquisition, MJF9! I'll have to post a denim close-up of mine. Wondering if it's different fabric?

Could this be by design? i.e. When tightened it would pull the gathered part in an upward direction.

SUPERDENIM SMALL QUESTIONS THREAD (Use instead of making new threads)
CSL replied to minya's topic in superdenim
I visited the Brogue store a while back when I happened to be in the area. I was able to return a piece despite it being a sale item (they don't officially accept returns on those). I bought a couple of FW items. A rare opportunity to try those things on & look in the mirror. Very few US stores carry FW. Had a shot of single malt scotch. Can't complain... -

I've worn a lot of vintage frames. They tend to deteriorate over the course of 2-3 years. Hadn't thought much about it but I think the RayBan frames I have now have lasted quite a bit longer than that with no sings of deterioration. -

With my jackets I do turn them inside out, but don't button up. I'm afraid that might cause odd creases/pulling. I could be completely mistaken about that but I don't want to find out the hard way. I use the 'delicates' setting with no spin. -
Reviving the music recording discussion here, in my youth I had a Sony dual cassette player/recorder. You could record a track on one cassette, then bounce it over to the second cassette while adding another live track. After repeating this multiple times the initial track(s) would lose fidelity & get darker & murkier sounding, but it definitely had a vibe.
