  1. OOE YOFUKUTEN & CO. × holk Based on 02 model, this item has a specially ordered length with hidden rivets from the 50s. The fabric is OA-XX4 , the pair was produced in 2023. https://store.holk.jp/items/61501724 Measurements in CMs: ` Before Wash| After Wash| After Use Waist 92 86 91 Inseam 79 72 74 FR 32 30 BR 41 39 Thigh 32.5 31 Knee 23.5 Hem 22.5 21 Pre Wash Measurements Pics: After Wash Measurements Pics: 1 hours of hot soak and 40C hot wash for 25-30 minutes. Pics taken after use for 2 days, waist stretched back 5 cm almost, still 1 cm short to raw measurement, raw inseam was 79cm shrunk to 72cm after hot soak and hot wash, now stretched to 74cm after use:
  2. Also, using using cuff for longer periods require repairs to the damage caused by cuffing, if inseam length is perfect after shrinkage and cuff not needed / possible, it will save such damages
  3. I see almost everyone who wear raw denim, prefer to cuff their jeans, this gives an option to show selvedge, chainstitch and roping is also more visible. what about having inseam length that gives no option to have cuffing? whether it's okay?
  4. Next prewash update Ooe Yofukuten Lot OA01XX-0522: The pair feels very light and extremely comfortable on the body (sometimes I feel Zimbabwe cotton like FC), fit well on the body, joyful experience Thread count, thread color and stitches per inch are well balanced throughout the pair and helps create an elegant look and feel. Consistent placement of iPhone in right front pocket has left marks of usage (not very prominent) Whiskers are prominent Buttons have become shiny (couldn't capture well by camera) Usage of wallet in left back pocket developed marks, waiting for blowout with more usage Nice puckering on back pockets and yoke raised loops have started fading nicely I liked slight puckering of waist band (maybe I will not like extensive puckering) raised loop like double stitching, from crotch area to yoke with raised cloth , caused similar character like "raised loops fading" (either deliberate by OA or incidental , though very nice). leather patch still intact and very soft like silk train tracks are prominent copper rivets at pockets have started change in color honey combs the best roping, I have experienced so far among all Japanese Raw Denim pairs I have though not well captured by camera but stitching on inseam looks very elegant An unwanted crease during 1st wash also got prominent (my mistake during first wash)
  5. perhaps the most sensational denim contest ever , even for those who are not in the contest but just spectators 😍
  6. OA01XX-0522 XX4 update 8 to 10 months of usage approximately
  7. The Flat Head "one wash" "FN-SDW-001L - 10oz Denim Western Shirt" in size 42 for sale - Bougth with new tags (tags available and will be shipped with shirt). - New & still unwashed, I wore for two days only - Reason for selling: oversized shirt on my body. - Mother of Pearl snap buttons Sizing: Chest Width - 56cm Shoulder - 49cm Sleeves - 67cm Length - 78cm Please DM if interested
  8. I repeated FC1108 already , as first pair sufficient was worn out.
  9. @shredwin_206 thanks for the comments, I usually use this sizing estimation for Japanese Raw Denim One Wash pairs but for Freewheehelers just wanted to make sure before purchase, and now find the same applies to FW as well. I will try hammering the sharp rivets with care.
  10. New pair of FW 601xx 1951 "one wash" in size 34, hue of indigo is amzaing , clean and impressive construction. below picture taken on 3rd day of the wear: hemmed by Okayama Denim using their Union Special 43200G , chain stitch with matching color thread, original pair was having 80 cm inseam length, I needed 77cm for 5cm cuff Rivets are pointed / sharp , hopefully will not scratch the skin when putting hands into pockets or when touched without caution. Below waist measurement pictures taken before first wear: Waist measured 86cm , using "The Relax Method": 88cm waist width using flat method: Speedway provided waist measurement using "Flat Method" and was flexibile in communication whereas "Hoosier" was rigid, so I bought from Speedway Waist measured again after 3rd day of the wear, it shows 3cm stretched, now measuring 91cm. It seems it will easily stretch more 1 or 2 cm like any other Japanese denim in coming 20 to 30 wears, one wash pairs usually stretch 5cm (tends to reach raw position) by passage of time.
  11. 1. Momotaro 0105SP Going to Battle 15.7 OZ 2. Samurai S0500XX 15 oz OTOGI Straight 3. Fullcount 1108 13.7 oz (pre 2020 version) 4. Warehouse 800xx 5. Sugar Cane SC41470 13 oz Black 6. Fullcount 1108 13.7 oz 7. Fullcount 1109 13.7 oz 8. Ooe Yofukuten Lot OA01XX-0522 9. Warehouse 1001xx 13.5 oz Banner Denim 10. Freewheelers 601xx 1951
  12. Thanks @tooth for valuable feedback, much appreciated. Just for informatoin, I have used FC 13.7oz
  13. I prefer stretch to fit , as my one wash Jeans (2 FC1108, 1 FC1109, 1 SugarCane , 1 Momotaro), which started as 86 or 87cm waist are now 91 or 92cm, I can easily wear them without belts even. Also , my raw OA01-XX started as 91.5 cm, shrunk 5cm less and now stretch back again to raw position, wearable without belt. My Warehouse 1001xx in raw as 94cm , shrunk and now stretched back, though my required waist is 91 or 92cm but I must wear belt with this pair as by sitting and working pressure applies , and these WH1001xx tend to reach to raw position , roughly to 94, beyond waist requirement. So , in my opinion we must target Raw position even buying One Wash pair. Raw measurement is cap, within this tolerence limit , the waist is safe.
  14. One shop sharing 88cm in size 34 FW 601xx 1951, other shops sharing 85 or 85cm. That's why I opened discusion of using Waist Measurement methods: 1. Relax Method (as shown above by Hoosier) 2. Flat Method (aka Measuring along the top edge) Each of them gives different waist measurement, I prefer 2nd one, used by Okayama Denim, Denimio, Rivet and Hide, etc. https://denimbmc.com/how-to-measure-the-waist-on-jeans-the-two-industry-standard-methods/
