@Dry I think it's safe to say that you shouldn't soak those... they may be un-wearable after.

I can get a quick waist measure later today for stretch. I remember them being snug after washing but not tight. They stretched to comfort in no time. 50s fabric is petty forgiving if it needs to be.
Im pretty sure the only difference in the Denimio 50s is the inseam. It was absurdly long when I got mine. They did shrink to 35,75", but I'll probably get them hemmed at some point. I usually like my jeans at 31" or so.
Right now the waist is at 31". They could probably give some more, but It's not like I struggle to get them buttoned after a wash.

1 hour ago, udon said:Does anybody have tcb 50s non wash in size 28 or 29 I'm not sure which size to get and I was hoping someone could share thier measurements post wash:)
My 50s are a size 29
W:30" R:11" BR:15.25" Thigh: 11.5" Knee:8.75" Leg opening:7.95" Inseam: 35.75"
This is after one hot soak with the hottest tap water for 1 hour + 2 fifteen minute hot washes.

I picked up this, made in China, CDP type II Jacket off of Tao-bao recently. I'm quite happy with the quality and fit of the jacket. The 15 oz Xinjiang cotton denim is a little hairy and very nice for the money. The chest pockets are a little bit higher than classic type II's but everything else feels classic about it. Fit pic is after a one hour hot soak and two quick hot washes.

@i_denim Just wear a belt if you are concerned with stretch. Especially if you are happy with the fit everywhere else. I figure that denim stretches where it needs to.

@i_denim these are from the vintage color line. Olive and Turtle dove is the color. The heel tag is black on this version, which I like. A little more understated than the normal red tag.

@Max Power from what I can see they don't look super tight or anything and the thighs look more relaxed than mine. You'll probably get enough stretch out of them. You could always hand stretch the waist after washing too. They do seems to have all the shrink out on the one wash version.

I wear a 29 or a 30 in most jeans. I have 29 in TCB 50s and Slim 50s. Size 30 in TCB 60s (waist fits good with a roomy top block). Size 29 Boncoura 66.
I went with a size 30 for the 2009 , mostly on account of the slim legs. The legs are slimmer than your average straight fit. I only have a little bit of wear in them, so I can't say how the stretch will be, but I'm happy with the fit so far.
These are the measurements after I ran them through a hot wash (they are one- wash , but I'm obsessive about getting the shrinkage out. The only change was a small loss in length and negligible difference in leg opening.)
Waist 31"
Thigh 11"
Rise 10.5"
Inseam 32.5"
Leg opening 7.75"
@Max Power I did a hot wash before wear and Measure hardly any difference. Sugar Cane seems to shrink the hell out of their stuff. I think sizing up would be safe if you plan to wash frequently. If they are right now, they will be tight after every wash. How are the thighs on the 34? Reviews say these stretch out quite a lot.

@SLAB I have size 38 in the 50s Jacket. Mine measures closer to 49cm across laid flat and its one wash. On paper it does seem tight, considering that I usually buy T-shirts around that same size. It fits really well, I think, and I can layer a bit. I believe the pleats in the back give that little extra space for comfort.
