Hey LVC experts,

What's with the slim 1944xx thighs? Is this something they changed on the model? Going through old posts, the thighs don't seem slim like that. I think a size 30 and 31 are a 10" thigh. I'm interested in a pair of 44s, but maybe not if those measurements are correct.

I think it's that last years that Levis made the 66 style jeans. I believe the 1970s 501s are considered to be the 66 style.

I got the 60's jeans in raw.  All of my buttons were rusty after the first soak.  It's weird that only one of yours is rusted, but maybe they try to clean up the buttons on one wash items and just missed one. 

When I washed my slims and hang dried them, I noticed that the bottom button stayed wet longer than the rest because it was covered by denim. That one rusted, but the others didn't. All of yours may have stayed wet long enough to oxidize. Who knows?
