    I've experienced a new denim blunder. I got into working out over the past year, but I guess I don't eat enough in exchange. I've lost like 15-20 pounds since the spring. The jeans I love no longer fit lol. I'm almost considering getting checked for a tapeworm or something...

    Probably just losing fat. If you exercise regularly you increase your metabolism so even if you have a bigger appetite and are eating more, your body is consuming more fuel at same time.

    Wear a belt ^_^

    Very tempted by the 50s right now. I'm a 32-33 in most jeans but a little concerned about TCB sizing. I bought a 60s in size 32 once but it felt two sizes too small. And I didn't like the super low rise. Should I get a size 32 in the 50s jean? Measurements on paper look good

    what is low rise to you?

    Just curious as 60s are classed as mid rise. My tag size 32 had about 10 and half inch front rise if i remember correctly

  3. Bought this flannel shirt from ues. Great colourway. Fit is great apart from the bottom width...if that was a bit wider it would be perfect. Dunno how they brush the flannel on the inside, but it feels super soft and lovely. I want my pyjamas to feel like that haha :D

    I'm already eyeing up two more of their extra heavy flannel shirts

    Is that another pair of 76s and some new 66s or the 76s you bought a few weeks back? I ordered some 66s too, what are your impressions of them?

    new 66 with the 76 i bought couple weeks back.

    The 66 denim has a softer hand to it. It also has more uniform feel to the denim as I run my hand along it. The 76 seemed to have patches with a bit more of a hairy feel. I also prefer the indigo hue of the 66. Overall I like the 66 denim more.

    I like the mix of the two thread colours on the 66 (yellow and browny orange). Looks nice.

    I was just about to post something sad here, but then my phone rang. The contact info DHL had didn’t make any sense here, but luckily I’m the only person in Norway with my name and so the industrious delivery guy found me. Yay!

    And this is what usually happens whenever I put something on a surface to take a photo of it:13C423C9-9CB6-4D1E-B91F-36BF52085DF4.thumb.jpeg.231c11bcab87e22f2d8c535a41c829b9.jpeg

    haha your cat is awesome. Photobomber extraordinaire

  6. Right, so my two pairs raw (both tag size 32):

    1976 = 32.6 inch waist

    1966 = 33 inch waist

    Will be interesting to see @dealingwithit post soak measurements on the 1976. I did not plan to wear mine for a long long while, so was going to leave it NWT, but tempted to soak them in the name of science

  7. I know it's probably buried somewhere in this thread (can't seem to find it with google search), but how do you remove the label on the back? Simple as just cutting if off with scissors?

    We should just have 1 contest thread.

    Think it's been split in two so that people who only want to see pictures can view that thread, and any discussion is posted here. Can make things hard to follow if it's not strictly followed and posts are not referenced

  9. Been following Tender thread for a while now, and finally decided to jump in. William's post last year about his new Molleton denim had me interested and then oomslokop's posts on it sold it to me. I first emailed William back in May, and he's been very friendly and helpful.

    Molleton denim really is something else. It feels insanely soft and kinda wooly to the touch. I've seen people comment on certain jeans being like sweatpants. Well these are probably the closest to sweatpants you will get to with denim jeans.

    I really like the copper dome rivets and the solid brass top button. The straight cut front pockets are cool too.

    Another note on the denim is that it already has different hues of indigo throughout (see pic below), which I guess is from the molleton process?

    The fit is tight in the hips, but definitely feel it will loosen up with wear. Otherwise a great fit for me.

    Also, pulling my jeans out of a sturdy box felt good, similar to the feeling you get when you pull brand new boots/shoes out of the shoe box. Weird little thing.

  10. I'm placing an online order with a UK retailer (they have couple brick n mortar stores in UK), and paid via credit card. I've then got an email from some third party service called nofraud.com, which is an american company, asking me to reply 'YES' if i indeed placed the order, and then asking for an email with picture of a valid photo ID and picture of my credit card but hiding first 12 digits of card number.

    I then emailed the retailer and they confirmed it is legit and a new service they are using.

    Is this common practice? Or is it even legal?

    To me it feels completely dodgy. I have no problem showing ID in store, but I will not send my personal data like that over email.
