Yea looking at it several times I also had a thought that this could maybe be black. 

Fit in the legs just felt a bit sloppy to me, but I need to give it another try. I think if it was indigo denim, I would have been fine with it. Black denim just doesn't look good in looser fit (in my opinion).

Loads of guys here love the 710 fit, so if you've checked out measurements and they work for you, then all good

EDIT: I also looked on 2nd rakuten store, doesn't mention there either, but it does have this hilarious description:

I have never ever considered wearing a Suka jacket, because I just don't think I could ever pull one off. That is the first suka jacket i've seen that looks so unbelievably good, that I don't care if I can pull it off or not, I just want it. But it's way way out of my price range.

Thigh is larger in the 888 cut. They nickname it their lifters cut

I like the look of the 16oz denim (of the 20th anniversary pairs), but it's in the 710 cut. I have the 710BKB, and was not really happy with the look of the fit on me. Although i'm quite keen to give it another go.  Also that it was black denim (Black denim seems to just look better tapere & leg hugging).

If it was 511 cut like the 25oz pair, I would go for it no problem. hmmm.

Yea, I haven't washed my 107 yet, but the denim seems pretty forgiving. When I first bought mine, it felt snug in waist and top block, but it's loosened up well.

Tender, under the Whoopers brand, have a similar looking prototype jacket. Hope retailers show keen interest in it, so it's put into production

I got a PM asking about measurements on my 1951, so thought for reference it would be good to add them here. Original owner had given these a soak and worn handful of times. I gave it a 40c machine wash inside out. I have since worn them for towards 2 months. These are measurements after that.

Waist: 33.2 inches

FR: 11.7 inches

BR: 15.5 inches

Upper thigh: 12.4 inches

I always say this, but the marbling texture that Tender denim gets looks so good!
