  1. Ok, just got these Freewheelers 1944-45 and I absolutely love the fit. You all were right about the waist being tight at first but they stretch a good amount. Im really comfortable in them, loose in the butt and thigh and legs but a nice wide leg. How did you file down the rivets Austin? Also thank you @Duke Mantee and @JohnM for all the help in getting these! And @nick682 for selling them to me-now sell me your size 31 :)

    Hi @srudy

Not sure if you saw this, but buried in all the pics are a few words on fit - sound pretty much the same as their 20s model

The G-1 is a great jacket -- looks good, fits well, and is practical with an interior pocket and two reasonably wide outside pockets.  Nice pick-up srudy.

I like the A-2 too, especially the versatility of lighter weight and the simple collar, but it's otherwise less useful, due to the small pockets, as JDelage says.

Thanks JohnM! I’m really liking it! A pretty and classic piece.

  4. @heyson I sized these like all my other Ooe. They’re very true to size, but the waist is definitely more forgiving than most Ooe. I went with a 33, it’s what I typically wear with them. The fit is loose in the top block, slim in the legs. Very flattering.
