  1. Here's my almost 6 month update on my tcb20s.  I've worn them pretty consistently since March 17.  Soaked 2x and washed 2x, hung dry.  I got a little distracted the past 2 months with new pairs, but have tried to wear these at least 2-3x a week.  They most recently been going to the gym with me and riding the elliptical.

Anyone find the heavier weight Ooes (e.g., DB01, Golden Gate) to be smaller in the waist for the same size than standard weight (OA01/02)?  Either I'm getting fatter or the heavier jeans are smaller or stretch less.

The db01 are definitely smaller in the waist, or at least mine are. I’ve got a 33 in db01, a 33 in OA01 Golden Gate, a 32 and 33 in Saddle Pants and the db01 are my tightest by far. I think the denim doesn’t stretch like the typical Ooe denim.

  4. Here's my latest instagram post.  I'm using our old 2008 Macbook pro to post this since my new one crapped out.  Ugh.  Anyway, I'm loving this new pair.  I've decided just to wear them, no washes, no soaks.  Although, i did get stuck in some rain the other day.  I love the creasing and fit.  Wish the cuffs were a bit smaller, but after a hot soak, they'll be good.  Agree with @FreeCharlesMansonthat the pockets could be a bit bigger, always think that's more flattering.  But I really love the cat ears and wear them proudly.  I plan on fucking them up and hope my adhd doesn't get the best of me.

looking forward to the comparison pix @nycsurfer530! i will do another chattering comparison of my old 50s vs. these 20s vs. lvc version of 30s soon

@srudy you can paste links from your IG posts into these threads super-easy no? love to see the pix here too!

& off topic, but keeping to your IG stream: that present of leroy looks like roy x cone at its very best: memorial & leroy: truly god-tier status collection growing!

hoping more pants get into more hands soon!

thanks again to inoue and volvo for all hard work in keeping this rolling and getting it back into the air...

Ha! Well, yes, I guess so. Roy is very nice to me. Those neppy Roys are actually a bit different than the one that’s floating around via sufu. They’re heavier weight, 2 pocket.

As for the pics on here, my computer screen is busted so, I really only have my phone, so posting the link from my ig account won’t be happening until that’s fixed. But, I’ll see if I can use my old computer.

Really excited about the new, 2nd round of this contest!!!! I sized down one and I’m liking them a lot better. And the cat ears are really cool and unique.

  6. Got them!!!!

Have to say, a little bummed the pocket bags aren’t something special, but I’m excited to get back into this. They look great and have my old patch on them even though I sized down one.

Still can’t  upload pics here, so probably just going to stick with instagram.

Anybody in the states ship them out yet? I'm heading to the P.O. on Tuesday, and I'm not an experienced international shipper. I'm curious if there's an obvious better (i.e., "more economical" (i.e., "cheaper")) option than a usps priority international flat rate envelope. Maybe just a first-class international package? Thanks.

I went ahead and did a padded flat rate priority mail envelope just to be safe.  Wasn't cheap, 32.05, but I wanted to make sure they got them quickly.  For some reason I trust Priority mail, not sure why.  I'm guessing, but if you did a regular envelope, it would probably be 12-15 bucks.

so this is what I've agreed with Inoue.

Who's opting for an exchange will receive a pair which will have:

    • special own design arcs (cat ear design)
    • special pocket fabric

I've even asked if he could slap another special patch, but he has them anymore, and printing a new batch for a limited number of jeans is not possible.

Oh, hell yes!  This sounds really good!  And we can keep our original patch?

  9. Got my 20s 3 days ago.  Soaked them the day before yesterday, and wore them for the first day yesterday.  I sized up on these to get the farmer's look and to be comfortable with my current situation (broken foot/orthoboot).  I thought I had ordered a 32, but got a 33 in the mail instead.  That's fine, although they are definitely big.  I soaked them for almost 3 hours, putting in more hot water and agitating when the water cooled off a bit.  Then line dried them.  Yesterday, was my first day in them.  Super comfy, super stretchy.  My wallet is stretching the pocket out and it's not that heavy of a wallet!  I can't wait until they settle a bit and start to look more molded to me.  Hopefully over time.  Today I worked and wore them the entire day.  We had a home staging project, so I was on the floor cleaning up after the movers.  They were great for today.
