@srudy Nice pics! I wish there was something like that within a day of me, but there isn't. Also I am intrigued as to how that vehicle got down by the water in that first pic.
On that bend in the road there is a drive, large enough for a car-where folks process fish after being out all day.

Took a trip up to Sea Ranch and Timber Cove north of the Bay Area this week to escape the bad air and get some R&R. Wore the 40s suit for the whole trip. The coast is beautiful up there, Sonoma and Mendocino County, rugged and interesting. We ate well, rested and got away from all our neighbors! Ha!

A lady in the bathroom at a restaurant complimented mine too!

#45 with a check in...
Too damn smoky to go outside for pics-trust me it’s Sept 1 here in Northern California.
Both jacket and jeans were raw, denim size 31 and jacket size 38. I’ve soaked them both 2x, wearing the jeans. Now the denim is crunchy and creasing (my favorite moment with new denim). Put them both on while wet to get everything to start forming to me and to stretch the waist. Although now I don’t want the waist to stretch anymore.
Happy start to this TCB race everyone!

Wet the waist band with a spray bottle and pull or put them on for a while.

The jacket is very nice. Agree that fit is on the slim side. The body and sleeves are shorter than on my TCB 50s in the same size (44).
Mine came one wash -- wasn't that the standard for these? Didn't realize raw was an option.
I specifically asked for raw and they obliged. Glad i did, i like to tweak and pull and manipulate it myself.

How are people finding the jacket?
Construction, fit, details - how is it?
My tux is set to be delivered tomorrow and I’ll be away until Friday 28th- just enough time to soak and play around before the 1st. Ordered Both Raw.
Construction is on point, fit is slim, with longer sleeves (typical of tcb jackets), and i love the pocket-fits my phone perfectly. I'm really looking forward to breaking it in now. I did 2 long, hot soaks, now it's much more the way i want it to fit.

@srudy great fit! What size did you go with those? I’m concerned with my size choice.
Thank you! I went with a 31 raw and did a tub soak with them on.

Mine are not going to work for me so I will offer them for sale to anyone who missed out and might want them. They're not even 31" before shrinkage which is quite off from the size chart we got. The thigh is also much smaller. Not even 12" when raw. These could work for me if they were one wash, but I'm planning on actually washing consistently so I unfortunately cannot make these work. It's a real shame because the patch is so cool and I am quite happy with the pocket bags I got.
I have only tried them on once. Just want to get back what I paid for them.
Size 31 raw:
Waist: 30.5"
Front Rise: 13.75"
Rear Rise:17.5"
Thigh (at crotch): 11.8"
knee: 9.75"
hem: 9"
inseam: 31.5"
Pics:
love the pocket bags on yours!
