  1. same denim. I trust what Kiya says, meaning there is more to a fit than just measurements. I*m sure there are tweaks here and there that are not reflected in the measurements. However, going by what is provided, its hard to understand exactly what the difference is, because on paper its basically the same fit as the RS.

  2. Once agan, John Faler proves his leather goods are unfuckwithable. I asked for an iPhone sleeve, and since he didnt have any, he mocked one up and created one. and while a sleeve is not terribly complicated, its the small details that count. The stitching is flawlessly executed. The edges are burnished very well. The Horween dublin tan is beautiful. From what I can gather, its basically cowhide that goes through their shell cordovan process. It has a pull up characteristic thats not as intense as chromexcel, and has a bit more grain characteristics. The only thing its missing is a Faler Brand logo...

Less than ideal lighting conditions in my apartment, so sorry about the glare, but I think the pics speak for themselves. Under proper sunlight, the rich color is going to be even more amazing. Thanks again John.

  3. Dude, killing it with the food pics. Im a sucker for pork belly. Theres a spot in San Francisco that I go to called brenda's. Its like french soul food. They have cheese grits and por belly with pickled jalepeno peppers, the shit is to die for.

    Jeans look great too.

  4. I hit my patch with Obenaufs about two times between washes. It looks like shit right out of the wash, but usually an application clears it up. I say just hit it a few more times, maybe with something heavy duty (like Obenauf;s)

  5. Anyone have experience with Seven Foot Cowboy? They seem to have a jean for women that has a bit of a fuller cut and a rise that isnt all but crack everything. Japanese denim, made in England. I have an e-mail in with them to try to get a thigh measurement.

Im not feeling their mens jeans much at all, but the Sweetheart looks to be a decent cut

  6. haha. He actually contradicts everything he says. Search through the early pages of this thread and you will see what I mean. Regardless, I might just stick it out. I gave them a warm soak the other day because I wanted to be sure to get all the shrink out before I progress I have managed to stretch them out a bit more, and I have a feeling that they will give even more over time. The top block measures 1.5 inches more narrow than my comparable ROY and IH 634's and thats what I am feeling. Not sure how to go about stretching the top block other than wearing them. Maybe ill wear some lead diapers and do some sumo squats or something...

  7. you know what, I might be dealing with the same issue as Max Power. When I walk up stairs there is just a weird amount of pressure on the crotch/thigh region, even though when I am just standing, everything is good. Im kind of torn. I love the denim and want to stick it out, but Im afraid that the cut is just a bit too trim for my build.

  8. Strange. I've never had any back pain from sitting on my wallet. But I don't have it in my back pocket all (or even most) of the time, and I'm not sitting directly on top of it. I'm guessing that people who have problems with this are dudes with really, really thick bifolds who wear pants that position their wallet right under their bottoms.

or those ridiculous brick wallets that seem to be the rage in south east asia.
