  1. the thighs can be quite slim on the 1108's so asking for measurements from the shop would be best , and-japan.com offer a great service and you wont find a cheaper price online

there is allways the 1101 cut if you want a little room in the thighs

you still weaaring the 1108's gnome ?

no, I just cant do it. It feels too constricting. It turns out that its not the thighs that are doing it, its the hip measurement. I need a bit more room, like another 2 inches. Its a shame, but I will get some Full Counts again, as they are far too fine a denim to ignore.

  2. Denime were inseam 37" and are at about 34.5" now give or take which gives me a little spare to turn up.

The FC's from a size 33 waist and up offer 37" inseam but I think I'd probably err toward a size 32 with these, certainly looking at the 1101 or 0105 anyway, but then you lose the longer inseam with size 32 and below, think they're something like 35" raw.

Nobother I'm no rush happy to just wear in the Denime for the time being and not make a third balls up!

Might visit Shoreditch for a mooch about over the Easter weekend and visit Son of a Stag. If only they didn't charge £295 for everything! Sigh...

Im seriously considering the 0105 as well. I contacted and-japan, and while its not on their site, they can get it.

  3. billionaire, great pair...may i suggest RJB's? ;)

I was out taking photo's yesterday and actually did a double take because some guy walked by with a pair of RJB's. They looked fantastic. I kind of wish they made a cut that was a bit fuller in the thigh though.

  4. Lunchtime insta-cop while picking up a hem job at SESF. This thing is out of this world.

edit** will add another pic in a second....

  5. I sized up one on the SG hoodie and it shrank to a perfect fit. I made the mistake of not heeding Kiya's advise on the SE page regarding the shrink characteristics for the SG sweatshirts the first time I bought one, and I fucked up. Fortunately my wife loves it, so it wasnt a total wash.

Agreed about the combs on the arms. I think it looks like a fat baby arm at times, haha

btw, I know our resident hater is now gone, but I find it extremely hard to hate on Strike Gold like he was. Every thing I have handled or owned by them has been beyond top notch in quality and fit/finish.

  6. sorry, i was trying to clarify for ksisouk, but didnt quote. i was always under the impression that loopwheeled stuff was tension free, aside from the natural tension caused by the gravity needed to make it work. However, i also lost track of the direction of the thread because it turned into another cockfight between us peasants and dear leader whatever123.

tl;dr, i dont know shit and really enjoy these threads when people shed light on the subject.

  7. LW has a sizing info section with measurements. But as far as real world exp, I have no idea. In fact, I dont think I have ran across anyone with any LW product, which is weird to me

  8. haha, these jeans are def. not all balled out. They are actually quite new, very little wear showing. I could probably beat them into submission but Im too old for that. I dont want to battle a fit when I could just let someone else get down with the jeans and I could get a proper cut fr me.

  9. The top block/hip is about 1 or 2 inched too narrow for my liking. Visually it doesnt look bad, but it just doesnt feel right.

Im a true straight fit kind of guy all things considered. IH 634, SD101, Roy RS04. I have a pair of 47 501's that are about as slim as I could go, but the top block is much more forgiving than the Full Counts.
