I think im going to off my 32" 1108's and re-buy a pair of 32" 0105's. The 1108 cut just isnt for me. If anyone is interested in some 1108's, size 32, drop me a line. Whatever123, Ill give you a special price:)

whatever123 is like Dr Jekyl and Mr Hyde. I love it.

faded ai stuff is an enigma. i wish it wasent though. i know there is plenty of stuff out there, g sells out of every ai jean he brings in. i have seen some jomons in person with some decent wear and although they are fucking incredible and beautiful to look at, it is way different from synthetic dyed.
are the fades less intense and more "vintage" for lack of a better phrase? I seem to recall that being the case but I could be mistaken.

haha, adaptation immanent

chromexcel is oily enough, so unless you plan on wearing in the wet mud and outdoors for extended periods of time immedietly, then no application is really necessary. wont really hurt though. cant speak on buffalo tho, so i dont know its care requirements.

look at those greasy things of beauty. Amazing boot build.

getting your shipping notification from Bakers is euphoric.

pockets dont look too big in my opinion. great fit. The 21oz denim will settle nicely and drape beautifully.

i usually just hang dry, but I have found that anything on a lower heat setting is ok. just dont sear it on the highest setting and you should be ok.

well, with the Strike Gold sweatshirts its kind of a toss up because they shrink. The medium crew fit well, pre-wash. It was slim however, but a decent fit (i sized by shoulder width, but didnt realize how short it would end up on me post wash). Once I washed it, it was too small. Self Edge notes this, I just failed to take it as seriously as I should have. The hoodies fit a bit different (raglan style shoulders vs the standard shoulder seam the crew has), and a large fit perfect pre wash, so I opted for the xl, and did a warm wash and hang dry and it ended up perfect.
edit** I did exactly what Skurlandski did, for the exact same reason

shit, cover blown:) Yea, its always good to see you and the guys at SESF.
I think I made the right call on the XL hoody. It fits perfect, and my wife has managed a hostile takeover of the medium crew that ended up too small for me.
Ill most likely stop by in the near future to drop off a new acquisition for a hem.

great fades. Nice and mellow but with character. This denim continues to interest me

no, cant say that crossed my mind.

great fit on the 101s. Rise measurements at BiG has scared me away from getting a pair though. Glad to hear they might not be as bad as I expect.
damn sorry about the neg. Tried to quote and failed. The rise is just about perfect in my opinion, and based on your denim preferences, I would say the SD 101 is right up your alley.

how do they fit relative to your rs04s?
pretty close actually. The thighs and top block are a bit fuller on the 101's, but everything else is comparable.

its not low. I am super sensitive to low rises (hate them) and the 101's feel on par/identical to my IH 634's, Roy RS04, FC1108 and Levi's 47 501.

Do you go in and try them on? A lot of times I'm surprised at how certain measurements feel in real life. I think we've been conditioned into thinking that only certain measurements will work when in reality there can be a pretty big variance between your shirts and they can all fit well.
Also, my birthday is in May. OH shit.
yea, I have tried them all on. I dig what Kiya says, but at the price point we are hanging out in, I want the shirt to fit how I want it to. If I cant manage it, I guess its not for me. Sucks for me. Maybe Ill get over it at some point. I tried the FH wabash on and about shit my pants. One of the best shirts I have ever seen. I just couldnt pull the trigger

I cant fit the shoulders on FH shirts. I want to get some so bad, but the shoulders are too wide. For instance, one of the Glory Park flannels has a 43 chest which is great but the shoulders are close to 20". I need an 18 in the shoulder.

Another fit pic in better (fucking direct) light. Trying to look tough.

yea, my tagged 33's shrink down to like 31 0r 31.5. But they stretch out pretty quick.
sorry, didnt mean to ignore...its a Strike Gold hoody. The arms look like a fat baby sometimes, haha

after two hot soaks, right at 34". These are 33 waist

quick and dirty fit pic. Leg twist, while not as obvious in this pic is pretty extreme. Crazy how the denim reacts to water. Im thinking about getting these hemmed, as I wear a 2" cuff on every other pair of jeans in my rotation. Still fairly damp in this pic. They measure out pretty much exactly as BiG's measurements.

thanks for the link. I had investigated them a year or so ago, but the website (or my search skills) came up pretty empty. The prices seem pretty good.
