  1. Just a few pics. Went Auto-crossing today

And sadly while I was bending over to check my tire pressure my jeans ripped... There was a small hole (that has been gradually getting bigger) and was going to get them repaired at the end of this month or sometime in October but I guess I'm going to do it a bit sooner  :(

  2. Just got my RC shirts in and they fit pretty great. Definitely pleased. But Broak you weren't kidding, they're a bit on the long side haha. While I don't mind this, they are pretty tight at the hip but if they shrink a little they'd be perfect. Anyone know how much they shrink? I can afford a bit of shrinkage everywhere but a little slim so don't want too much (I always wash and dry on cold/delciate). Sorry to keep asking about RC (not sure if they're allowed or not) but figured this the best place to talk about t-shirts in general.

  3. I find the fit on the Reining Champ tees to be way too long personally.

And I'm fairly tall at 6'3".

I might be in the minority here, but I prefer longer shirts so that is actually good to hear! I did see measurements and they didn't seem unusually long.

if its the dubbleworks 2 pack tee's your thinking of ordering i wouldn't bother , they dont wash well at all ( loose the neck shape really fast and the fabric isnt all that nice )

Yeah it was those. Thanks for the info! I'll make sure to steer clear of them.

  4. I definitely like reigning champ, solid construction and there hoodies are a good size imo, thinking of getting another to go with my two I have now. Not sure if their t-shirts are loopwheel though.

Not loopwheeled but figured I'd ask since they seem to be well made. How is the shrink on them? The two pack is well priced but shipping back would kill me so want to get everything straight before I order.

Yes, Dubbleworks/Warehouse makes an XL but they sell out fast at that size. I posted a Rakuten link and measuring guide earlier.

Sorry wasn't super clear, I meant an XL in the plain colored shirts. Went through the 9 pages and sadly it seems the XL is only in the graphic shirts. Oh well.

  5. Couple of questions.

Anyone know if Dubbleworks makes anything bigger than a large? Maybe I didn't search hard enough but I couldn't find anything in an XL.

Can anyone comment on Reigning Champ shirts? the measurements for XL's look pretty decent. Was either those or some 3Sixteen tees.

And anyone recommend any good shirts for a dude on the heavier side? A lot of the Japanese brands always seem to be a bit small, and would prefer to keep the price under 50 per shirt.

  6. ^Been eyeing both in xl, could you give some measurements? Thanks!

Yeah no problem, although I already folded it and but in a box but grabbed a few yesterday. Didn't measure the sleeve length though.

    Shoulder: 20"

    Pit to Pit: ~23"

    Length: ~29"

  7. Finally got my Lady White shirts and Velva sheen shirts in the mail. Sadly they're all too big. The Lady White shirts are bigger than Independences measurements sadly. Pretty much too big everywhere while the neck is pretty small. A huge pet peeve of mine, and not just really a fan of them. The Velva Sheen ones are also too big. Looking at measurements the L in both would be borderline so might just try something else. The hunt for the perfect shirts continues!

  8. I will stand behind this statement by saying those are the worst cuts I have ever seen.  a pre soak size 36 has a 39" waist and a laughable 10.5" rise.

I agree, I was interested but then saw the measurements. No way.

  9. ^I'm pretty sure the 511's use the same 15oz Texas Cotton that the 0500's and the 15oz version of the 510's use. I have my 0500s tapered to fit roughly the same as the 511's so you can search for some fade pics of those or other peoples 0500's to get an idea of the fade potential.

As for weave, I'd say it is on the tighter side (although honestly I don't really know). They feel pretty damn heavy, stiff and substantial for 15oz. I personally really enjoy the 15oz. It's not too heavy but not super soft like Fullcount or Warehouse so drapes a bit better in my opinion.

  10. Thanks for the kind words, guys. I try my best to fade them, but wil rotate with the Resolute for a while. The Authentic LX (good eyes) feels a bit heavier and better constructed than normal Vans, but I haven't worn them enough to judge. I got them for half the price of normal Vans, so I didn't think twice. They seem to run slightly bigger than the standard ones as far as I'm concerned.

Haha, I know my vans. But yeah half off, can't go wrong! And good to hear they're a bit bigger because it feels my feet are getting wider...  . But thanks for the advice! Going to grab the dark red pair.

  11. I have some in L and some in XL, the recent purchases were XL and they fit pretty well.

I've found some misleading measurements online, the Independence Chicago (where I bought these recently) measurements seem accurate.

Just checked their measurements and they seem a bit better, so that's good! How's the shrink on them if washed and dried?

I was also interested in the regular 3sixteen heavyweight shirts. Do you have any? If so, how do they compare fit wise to the Lady White shirts?

  12. So I think Lady White Co. really stepped up the quality of their jersey fabric. I just got a two pack of the olive greeen tees and one of the Clark pocket tees in the camel colorway and they feel completely different than my older ones.

What size did you end up getting? I am pretty close to pulling the trigger on some of their shirts but man, the shoulders are massive and almost seem disproportionate to the rest of the shirt.

  13. Thanks for the info Flash! I think I definitely need a pair of the '46's. I'm not a fan of tight hips or waist so the 46 seems like a much better fit. I need to go on a hunt to see if I can get some measurements.

  14. I always track my jeans by months as opposed to days but I always account for days not worn and usually go with a lower estimate. I am also usually pretty spot on since I just like to keep track of that stuff (I have a little note book where I right down when they're washed and when I don't where them for long periods of time (Like getting hemmed, tapered, or repaired). My friends think I am crazy  ) I say my samurai's are worn for roughly 13 months. Realistically they're worn between 12.5-13.5 months, and I just take the average.

  15. Might not be the best place but figured i'd try. I am interested in the Jelado x Rhythm Footwear Sandwich's. Anyone know how to size for them? I found a picture that seems they are sized similar to converse and Shoes Like Pottery so was going to go with my SLP size (size 28 in SLP, 10 in converse but 11 in Nike, Adidas, Vans, etc) so a but wanted to make sure before I throw the money on them.
