My 288's/Blue fit came in today and man, the fabric is insane. I grabbed the one wash and they are pretty damn soft too. Not sure how I feel about the fit. I'll probably sit on it for a few days (I also didn't really need these either...), then decide but again the fabric is beautiful. I love the color in person.

Did something happen to the Bronson store on Taobao? You can still find tons Bronson stuff but it seems it's all from other stores, and I can't find their own storefront.

^ Those buttons on the inside of the waist band seem like they'd be incredibly uncomfortable. Kind of curious what's the point of them, just extra buttons? I don't think they're suspender buttons, right?

Like many of you I'm starting to question my Samurai's and am tempted to switch back to my Fullcounts (the original pair I was going to do). The Samurai's have much nicer fabric and I kind of like the fit better but the Fullcounts are so damn comfortable... The rise is just borderline too short on the Samurai's. Ah well.
I did give the Samurai's their first wash yesterday though, but not too much fading yet.

Pics working now! Looks good! But saw this guy's 098's (http://northernisland.blog.so-net.ne.jp/2014-11-26), and am wowed again. Too bad the 098's seem to be hard to find (at least I can't find them except for Bears who are pretty much sold out).

^ I was super interested in the f151's since the denim fades beautifully but I don't think i'd be a good fit for me (just too tapered), and wasn't a huge fan of the other fits. But I'm going to give them a second look on rakuten. Also I wish Fob Factory used more button flies on their jeans.

^ The DXO76A seems like a straight cut with a small taper, but measurements seem all over the place. The ww2 sounds pretty cool though. Thanks for the info though! I might just take the plunge.

I stumbled across Deluxeware while browsing rakuten, and am interested in the DX076A cut. Anyone have experience with this cut or brand?
Ed, I saw you have a pair. What are your opinions on them? Do they shrink or stretch a lot?

Hi D-rew12,
Both M65 jacket are the same. There is no premium one as far as I know from Raymon.
However, the newer version is a little expensive because he is now using a customized fabric (60% Cotton/ 40% Nylon) from Japan.
Also upgraded cotton sewing thread from Japan.
There are some details like drawstring and such are more accurately made like the original vintage pieces.
Hope that explains.
Appreciate the info! A few of the pics on Taobao referred to it as "premium" but what you said makes perfect sense. Do you know what kind of fabric was on the older/cheaper version?

Hey, does anyone know the difference between the regular RedCloud m65 field jacket and the premium one? Does the premium one have a liner? I've been wanting one for a while, and they look pretty much the same (although the color is a bit different but I think that is more due to the lighting and the photo's) but the premium is an additional 300 yuan more.

KrisB! I was curious to see if anyone would recognize the parks haha. I usually just skate Lakewood (kind of been out of skating for a bit so just go to screw around now-a-days) but decided to check out Fremont since haven't been in a while. I'm always down for a skate session! If you ever see a dude in Samurai's at Lakewood, it's probably me haha

The 710's I had for a bit (from what I remember) didn't really have any loose threads, but my S0500 have a couple in the crotch in addition to the inseam. The s0500's were really stiff too (stiffer than 710) after I soaked them so maybe that had something to do with it. As long as it holds I'm not too worried.

Finally decided on a pair, and went with the Samurai S0500XX. So far so good. Haven't been incredibly active. I've been forced to take time off work so I've been lounging around the house but a couple pics of some skateparks and some close-ups for the 1st challenge.

Kind of annoyed but the inseam is already coming undone after only like 1.5-2ish weeks. Also lots of loose thread around the crotch. Not too worried, just name of the game I guess. Nice fabric though!

size up? tried on a pair of fullcount 1101?
The problem with the sz 38 was the waist was too big, and the thigh was pretty much the same as the 36 in most of the charts I saw. And I already own a pair of the 1101's (sz 35) but they taper too strongly for my tastes. The 0105 would have been a better option if the rise wasn't so high. That's why I settled on the 0500, although I did hope for a tiny bit more taper.

really? i think a 710 would suit you better! haha
I tried them! I uploaded a fit pic a few pages back of a pair of 710's (before they were hemmed), and even attempted to wear them for a bit. They were just too tight for me and sold them off.

WAIT WHY A 36? YOU LOOK LIKE YOUR A 33?
I guess I just hide my weight well haha.

have they been washed yet? they look loose for 0500
Gave them a warm soak in the washing machine. I could have gotten a bit more if I really needed to but wanted them to be a bit on the looser side. A lot of the measurements for these (in a sz36) that I've seen are roughly on par with what mine are.

Just got my S0500's back from being hemmed, and just wanted to share a fit pic. This is the shortest I've ever hemmed a pair (I was getting tired of lots of stacks and multiple cuffs). I kind of wish I had an extra .5"-1" but they are still nice. The leg opening is also a bit bigger than I wanted (but I knew that beforehand), but my PBJ's were just as big so I'm not too worried. Also they are incredibly stiff below the knee so the stacks are settling kind of weird but it'll be fine when they soften up a bit, and I reset them.
Edit: Took a better pic (well worse quality) that shows the fit a little better

Got a pair of S0500 from Denimio. Took a chance since their measurements they gave me were weird, but thankfully the measurements they gave me were a bit off and they fit great. Gave them a warm soak but the leg's still a bit big but still good. Was thinking of trying to hot soak the leg but kind of lazy. So, instead I'm taking them to get hemmed today and will just deal with the wider leg (or hot soak the leg when I get them back). The denim is also great, not as hairy as the 19oz but definitely rougher and has a nice color. Definitely impressed. Also, the last pair I had to break in were my Fullcounts and those were soft from the get go. Forgot how stiff denim can be sometimes.
Quick pic + a shitty fit pic real quick (sorry about the terrible quality).
Edit: Also here are the measurements after a warm soak with agitation in the washing machine.
Before / After
Waist: 19 / 18.3
Front Rise: 12 / 11.5
Rear Rise: 16 / 15.5
Thigh: ~13.75 / 13.25
Knee: 10.25 / 9.875
Leg Opening: 9.25 / ~9

Not too much of a change from last time but going to start wearing them less for the DWC, so I figured I'd give them a wash.
XX-009 ~9 months, 7 washes.

^Thanks for the link! I'm really really loving what FOB Factory is doing. I am definitely going to have to give them a go.

^ Ah meant to type 191, but yeah the 191 and 098's looked a bit wide for my taste. But the 151 looked pretty good. I saw some faded pics of the F098 and they look fantastic (http://northernisland.blog.so-net.ne.jp/2014-11-26). Definitely sold on them.
There is a pair currently on yahoo actions going for cheap, so I think I'm just going to bite the bullet and grab them (if I win).
Thanks for the advice!

I'm a size 36. I'd like to have the waist around 37.5 after stretching if possible, but I'm more worried about the thigh measurements and such. There is a pair on yahoo auctions for pretty cheap as well as a pair of F098's as well. Might just give it a go.
How do you like the F098's?

I think I'm convinced to finally getting a pair of Warehouses, and super close to ordering a pair of the 800's from Bears since they're offering free shipping for another day.
Quick question, Anyone have experience with the 800 in a size 36? I have short legs, so I'd need to hem them to about a 29-30" inseam but I'm worried the leg opening will be too big. I'd rather not go above 8.75, but it seems that's what most of the pairs are at in the normal length. You guys think they'll be 9" or bigger at a 30" inseam?
Edit: said screw it and went for it. If can always try and sell them if they're not right. Can't wait!
