Hey d-few, sorry I never got you any measurements on my 1101's, recently moved and it's been a busy time of year.

I think they look good though, the 13.7 oz denim stretches easily and I think the thighs will give a bit.

I know whenever I washed my pair in the machine I felt like they were a bit slim but then after a couple days of wear they feel just right.

No worries! I decided to say screw it and go for it. Right now they're pretty good although a little tight (could just be because I'm not used to them), but I'm glad to hear that! Have to be careful for when I wash in the future, but it's no big deal. Thanks!

 

 

d-rew thats  a perfect fit in my opinion.  nice silhouette without being too snug or sloppy.  good choice in cuts/size.  If it were me, I would get them hemmed so I could rock a mini single cuff...

Thanks! I'm pretty happy with them! And yeah, I am definitely going to get them hemmed. Going to go up to SF next weekend and have them cut down to 30" length. Perfect for a small single cuff and a little stacking.

Grabbed myself a pair of 1101s for the Holidays. 36 one wash was too big so I ordered the 35 raw (couldn't find 35 one wash). The thigh ended up being smaller than BiGs measurements so I got a bit scared and gave them a cold soak in the washing machine. The waist pretty much stretched back out immediately (which is great). I haven't really worn them yet, and they're a bit slimmer than I'm used to but not uncomfortable or anything. Just have to get used to them. I also will be giving them a hem soon.

I can take measurements of the hem of my size 35 1101's that have been hemmed to around 32 in. if you're interested d-rew.

I'm a big fan of the cut and plan on wearing my 1101's more next summer.

That would be awesome! If you wouldn't mind, could you measure the thighs and waist as well? If not, no worrys but I appreciate it!

Edit: I figured screw it and went and purchased them last night from denimio. pretty damn cheap with the weak yen so, can't wait!

I need your guys help. I am split between the 1101 and the 0105. I just visited BiG today and tried on the 1101 in a 36 OW and they were a lot bigger than the measurements on the website (I know pairs vary but the waist was like 38+) so I know I'll need a 35 but since they didn't have the OW version and neither OW sizes for the 0105 I couldn't really compare.

I love the fit of my PBJ xx-009's (sz 36) but I have them hemmed to a 30" inseam and the leg opening is just too big (~9.4" would prefer 9-9.2ish). Because of the bigger thighs in both fullcount models I'm kind of wary of the 1101 since it tapers pretty extreme but fits better everywhere else than the 0105.

Any ideas which would potentially be a better fit? I know it all comes down to preference but I'm curious to here other opinions.

Thanks! And same for me. The other models are either too slim or the rise is insanely short. The front rise was almost too short even on these for me. But I am happy with the 009's, definitely one of my favorite cuts (just wish they tapered a tiny bit more).

My 009's are finally starting to rip in the crotch and back pocket area. They have around 8ish months of wear with around 7-8 washes. Also took a new fit pic.

Btw, the R424 has a back rise of 16" in w36, would that be an option?

That actually would be perfect but the overall cut is too slim. My 13.7oz R423 have a rear rise of 15 (after washing) and that's the lowest I could go for rear rise. I'll still the R400 a go since there is a good chance the rise won't drop below 15 anyways, but just wish both the rear and front rise were a bit higher. Thanks for the help!

Back rise is 15.5, both on w34 and w36 (based on the most current 400 17oz.)

Just want to make sure, is that before or after a soak? If before, that sucks, the fit in everything seems perfect except the rise is just to small.

Anyone have a pair of sz 34 or 36 R400's that can measure the rear rise for me? I am trying to compare them to my R423's (13.7oz). The R423's are getting a bit too slim for me and want to grab a pair of the R400 but the front rise is smaller so I'm hesitant.

I'm working with Sauce Zhan on a new project at the moment, Zhan is a great guy and really knows his stuff. I'll update this thread with pics and progress on that as it happens.

I'm excited to see how it progresses! I own a pair of Sauze Zhan's, and love the denim but the fit just isn't for me.

Paypal's exchange rate kind of sucked, but just submitted my order. It'll be a nice birthday present to myself, can't wait!

The pocket bags on my Fullcount are deep. I really notice the difference when I get back into my Sugar Cane or TCB - both of which have shallower pockets.

That's good to hear! I can barely fit my phone (HTC One M7) in the pockets of my Red Clouds, but sounds like it should be alright. Thanks!

Does anyone know how the size of the pocket bags compares to either PBJ or Red Cloud? Or even Levi's or Flat Head? Just a but curious for when I grab the special pair. PBJ's pocket bags are the perfect size but Red Cloud (and even Sauce Zahn) or incredibly tiny.

I see a lot of vehicles that...reflect the age demographic of sufu. don't get me wrong, I drive a wrx wagon since new. recently, I've kinda fallen out of love with it. I'm curious to know. does anyone here drive a porsche? Of the aircooled variety? been daydreaming about an SC/G50 Carrera too much recently.

I can't attest much to the G50 (other than everyone says it's better) but I have a decent amount of seat time in a '86 911 and it is fantastic. Even with the clutch at the end of its life, it was still fun to drive. It didn't get driven much but was reliable enough. I think 911 prices are also going up a bit recently, too.

Those are beautiful! Do you mind posting any fit pics? I have yet to see how the 009s look on anybody.

Thanks for the opinions! I know the leg opening would be a bit bigger when but hemmed but I was just taken back by how small it is when un-hemmed.

I'm mainly just trying to find a replacement for my PBJ XX-009s. I like the fit but I need a bit more front rise and a little bit smaller leg opening (PBJs are 9.4in at 31"). I think the 1108 would better fit the bill, but I'm a bit nervous since the rear rise is borderline too small (as long as it doesn't drop below 15in, it'll be fine).

I am undecided between the 1101 and the 1108. Between BiG, Pirates, and Denimio which one did you guys find have the more accurate measurements (I know there is a bit of variation)? They all kind of seem to be all over the place. Going off of BiGs measurements I can't imagine the 1101s in a sz36 have a 8.25in leg opening with 13.5in thigh. The others are much more reasonable but if BiGs measurements are true, I can't imagine anyone really being able to pull that off.

I do agree we need a unknown Chinese brands thread. But I also grabbed a lesser known pair from taobao from a brand called Sauce Zhan. I got the 726XX-S model which is a sanfornzied 14oz Xinjiang cotton model based after the '66 cut. I just got them back from being hemmed (although they're still a bit too long). Nice, and soft.

Took over a month to get here, but finally got my 60/40 parka from Redcloud. Decided to go with the green one.

I seems to recall James from TuckShop once mentioning that one of the models is considered sort of an experimental cut that can/has changed from season to season, maybe the cut referred to was 423XX...

Ah, you're completely right. He mentions it on the last page, and it is the 423 model.

Have the 424XX on order - will let you know if the sizes/measurements have changed...

Thanks! Although it seems that the 424xx barely changed, just more rise, slightly smaller thighs. Unlike the 423xx which went through a drastic change.

I saw that Taobao has the new 14.5oz Turpan cotton for the 423xx and the 424xx. It also seems the measurements have change pretty drastically for the 423xx, and somewhat for the 424xx. The 423xx seems like a much straighter fit now.
