  1. any one have experience with the slim 2014 tapered fit?

While I have no personal experience, we've been selling a ridiculous amount of these at SENY. The fit is pretty perfect for most people.

  2. Is the Buzz peacoat at History Preservation the same as the one at Self Edge? History Preservation describes it as Buzz's "Pre-WWII U. S. Navy Pea Coat" while at SE it's called the "NAVY PEA COAT - USN 1910'S MODEL".

Both are 36 oz melton wool,  anchor surrounded by 13 stars 10-button, rayon-lined.  I believe they are the same but just wanted a second opinion.  Kinda mulling over the possibility of picking this up. Thanks.

They're the same. If you're looking to get one, come by SENY because we have a few in stock.

  3. William Gibson x Buzz Rickson has the most amazing horsehide A-2 coming out in November, black w/ brown hidden accents, and for the first time they're doing one that's 1.5" longer in length so it can be worn with untucked shirts.

I'm looking forward to going broke this holiday season.

  4. again pricing is also part of the owners ego.

viberg owns and operates his factory and selling of his shoes and he wants to jack up prices its totally understandable.

    while

lofgren is just a middleman who subcontracts his products to diff factories in japan or china ( who knows!?) jacks his price up which i think is NOT understandable. why? because he does not operate the factory nor pay the salary of the workers or the overhead of the factory. cant justify is prices really .

you guys do the math . im not fucking up lofgren but hes one good businessman. profiting more than what should be.

Ed, please don't start throwing this shit around for no reason.

  5. Since the Buzz thread is pretty dead (and because these somehow haven't sold yet), I figure it's worth posting these here. I'm selling two chambrays, in blue and in white, for $65 shipped apiece--or $127 shipped for the pair (mention this thread for those prices).

    EDIT: BLUE CHAMBRAY HAS SOLD

  6. Grew up in Novato. Lived in Petaluma for 7 years (near the Whole Foods in a really cool old house) but living in south Santa Rosa currently. I plan to buy in west Petaluma once I'm out of school and working full time. You come back to visit often?

Smart move--I'd love to move back some day. And I can't make it back very often, unfortunately, but I wish I could.

  7. i wont relax on the sizing until I have them in my possession.  There were three sizing charts floating in the thread, each contradicting the other.  I finally made my decision based off Ed's measurements and I hope that was the right thing to do

I sincerely hope you bought them like you would any other unsanforized Japanese jean, as Paul said.

  8. For sale: two of the greatest shirts ever made in size L. I'm selling both for $80 shipped apiece, but if you want both it's $150.

The only reason I'm selling these is because I've lost a significant amount of weight. I've already re-purchased both in a size down.

Both have been washed two-ish times to soften them up, but they have minimal wear.
