    What’s in the current rotation??

So those jeans were the last pair I put serious wear into, mainly due to the WFH/pandemic era putting an end to bike commutes and, well, moving around regularly. Wore some WWII Buzz jeans for a bit after the SC1955z, which had a very early and demoralizing crotch blowout (stitching was never quite right). I started wearing buzz chinos more and more as well.

These days, the Brycelands 133s and 933 (black) are the two I cycle between. Fabrics are about what you’d expect from any nice JP brand but their fit is phenomenal, the best I’ve ever found for me.

Two rayon open collar flannels that I’m very sad don’t fit, both size L. I just got these from Hinoya on a whim and thought I could make them work. The black shirt is new/unworn and the red was washed once (then pressed) to see if it’d shrink, but no luck.

Looking to get 110 shipped apiece, although I can give you a deal if you get both. Retail is ~150 USD.

  4. Keeping the 1955z train going with this pair I just got back from SESF. The crotch split open on these prematurely due to some loose stitching, as well as a split along the yoke.

Only intermittent WFH wear over the last year so not a ton happening, but they’re coming along!

Posting a handful of items, with measurements to come a bit later (though most are available through Self Edge/HP if you want to take a look yourself).

    • Whitesville 2-pack (M, washed and worn fewer than 5 times) - $50 shipped
    • Whitesville 2-pack (L, washed and worn fewer than 5 times) - $50 shipped
    • Warehouse 1001xx Size 34 - NEW (these appear to be sold out everywhere) - $200 shipped
    • Buzz Rickson 1942 Chinos Size 33 - Khaki - VERY lightly worn - $100 shipped (there was a crease deliberately added to these by a tailor, which I think looks cool—if you disagree I can have it taken out before shipping)

What’s the waist like on the 55’s? Are they a little smaller than tagged? I find the 47’s in a 34 to be tight while the 34 in the 66’s are looser and more comfortable (tho the rise is higher so that prob helps.)

I can barely button size 32 in the 47, but in the 55 they’re spot on/comfy. They’re close to the 66 in that way, but without the taper.

And attached is a random shot I snapped cleaning up the bedroom. The light looked nice! Not a lot of wear yet, though.

Sugar Cane’s best cut by a mile, in my opinion. I’ve been considering getting a second pair to save “just in case.”

Would love to keep seeing more pics as yours age. Mine are coming along, but slowly due to WFH life.

Has anyone here been wearing the 1966? Thinking it will be my next pair.

Is it the same denim as the 1947?

Different denim! They’re really good—I’ll have to snap photos of my faded pair soon.

Does the ‘55 only come zippered?

I wonder if the recipient of your old ‘55z doesn’t like you anymore either?

He absolutely doesn’t. Long story lol.

The 55 only comes with a zipper, yeah, and it’s probably the only thing I kinda dislike about it.

  12. Picked up the 1955z at SESF yesterday! These feel like somewhat of a hybrid, sizing-wise, between the 66 and the 47. The waist is a bit more forgiving on the 55 and the 66, but the former obviously doesn’t have as narrow of a leg opening. Don’t quote me on this, but I reckon most people can wear a size down from their size in the 47 (that’s how it is for me, anyway).

There might be a fit pic of me on here wearing the original SC 1955z 12ish years ago? Loved em back then but gained too much weight and tragically gave them away to someone I don’t even like anymore!

    There

  13. Sugar Cane 1947 size 34 (like new)

These were purchased raw, soaked once in warm water and then worn sparingly, and then soaked in cold water just before posting this listing. They have not been worn since. These could definitely shrink more if you wanted them to!

    Shipping to CONUS only!
