Thanks for the responses, everyone. I was aware of Evisu's history but I wasn't sure if they still did that stuff. I'd love to find gull-less #1 denim in a 50s cut...

What's Evisu's repro cut? Do they even make such a jean?

Wait, McCoys era? Did I miss something? I thought some weird fashion brand bought them.

So what's the final word on the new Denime's quality? What's their story? I've been "out of the game" (so to speak) for awhile. Did Resolute ever get sorted out? I remember their first few cuts being pretty unappealing.
Your jeans are looking great, BF. I can't wait to see how they turn out!

Is there anything I need to know before buying one of those Seiko Pepsi watches? Any variation over the years? Are fakes pervasive?
Edit: and I want mine made in Japan.

I may just make a thread about this, but what stores, vintage or otherwise, do y'all suggest I check out while in London? The only one I remember from my last visit is American Classics.

My girlfriend and I will be in London for about ten days at the beginning of January--what vintage shops should we check out?

^This is their loosest cut, yeah? Let's see some fit pics! I'm considering a pair.
And does anyone have any good links to faded SDAs? I know there's probably some Japanese blog out there that would fit the bill.
