^Very nice B-Dawg. How different is the 23 than the regular Damnation?
Also, I just scored a 4th bottle of CBS off the shelves Pretty happy with my take after talking to so many people who couldn't even manage to get 1.

Coffee at 11:30PM. I think I've given up on even trying to get to sleep at a normal time now.

^How was that release ren? Did you get any bottles? Here's my first haul in a while, all in the last day:

CT is the only state you can get it in I thought?

^I thought so too but apparently they changed it?
Some places are already putting CBS on the shelves.. at least I know of some places waiting till Monday (which I have off) so I can run all over town in the morning and hopefully get a few bottles.

You can still buy them online from a few places. Can't remember off the top of my head but it's easy to find them.

^Hah a couple of my friends have been working with him every day at the ballet for a while now. My roommate met him last week too at the ballet fall gala.

but an integral is a space and 4-pi would result in a measure of length
Err sorry, meant the area of the space within the black line - the area of the circle. I was caught up in the logic and got confused for a second.

Well, a couple of guys couldn't come to the Darkness vertical tasting and the host really wanted them to be there, so we pushed it back to a later date. We drank a random assortment of bottles instead including a Veritas 008, which was much better than I expected from the reputation.
edit: Also, Bells Batch 7000 is really overrated. It has tons of A+ and A reviews recently but after Iron Fist Velvet Glove (this brewery has really surprised me) and Jester King Black Metal, I could barely get through the Batch 7000. It was way too syrupy and burnt at the same time.

Nah, unfortunately no 07, I wish. I'm taking a Jester King Black Metal as well, assuming a few other bottles will be there. I'll throw up a pic of the lineup later.

Going to a Darkness vertical tasting tonight, woop woop. Also about to pick up a 4pk of fresh Ghandi Bot that mpcec sent me. Thanks man

Right, it only really touches in the four places that it is tangent to the circle to begin with. I'm not sure how to express your point in mathematical terms either, but I think the easiest way (for me at least) to see the flaw in the logic is that if the black line is only ever tangent to the circle in those 4 places, there is always an integrable space between the black line and the circle in all places but those tangents. The integral should equal 4 - pi since the black line always equals 4.
I dunno if I explained that very clearly.

@Baeyer-- even if you took the number of steps to infinity, the black line still only touches the circle tangentially four times rather than converging to the circle. It needs to converge to the circle (touch it tangentially in all places) to equal the perimeter, or pi. Also, the black line will never be inside the perimeter of the circle, so it will always be bigger than the circle. Therefore the black line > pi and pi != 4.
edit: err, just noticed redX's post, pretty much said the same thing.

Yeah, from my experiences, most investment banks/hedge funds/asset management firms prefer somebody with a quantitative background rather than a business background because it's much easier to teach somebody the business side of things than high level quantitative skills. On top of that, quantitative degrees open an extremely broad range of fields career wise. You can still pursue finance but at the same time if it's not working out, there are plenty of other options available. Just my .02.

A B isn't a bad grade, and managerial accounting sucks anyway. Accounting is even drier than finance (which may be hard to believe) and to me, much less interesting, but accounting is definitely very stable and always in demand. Not a bad way to go. Have you considered any kind of applied math/engineering fields ohsnap?

Eh, honestly it was just ok. The pork belly was way too fatty (although my friends said it usually isn't like that), the pulled pork was good but nothing crazy, and the goat was kinda meh. The brisket was fucking delicious though, definitely the best thing we got. Oh and the potato salad was really good too.

Chicken liver on toast and deviled egg
Bone marrow with beans on toast and some kind of squid

Roast goat leg, pork belly, brisket, pulled pork, Berkshire sausage, beans, broccoli, kraut, and potato salad.

Going back to Volo tonight. They've got a "Tap Takeover" tonight, working with 16 different local brewers to make 16 different nanobrews. Gonna try 'em all. PSYCHED.
Haha, can't rep you right now, but I appreciate your newfound beer nerdness.

Word, that's dirt cheap for a week in Paris. Hopefully I can swing this trip, haven't been to Paris (or Europe even) in like 7 years, totally stoked at the idea.

Yo Clopek.. an estimate price.
What you think its going to cost in total. Airfare+living situation?
Don't count food, drinks, drugs, prostitutes, and boobs.
I can provide some good wholesome LSD for cheap? (5) Super Spun in Paris anybody??
And yeah, flights are running like ~$700-900 round trip from NYC to Paris for next May. How much are we looking at (roughly) for accommodations Clopek? You said $250, but is that per person for an entire week? Seems cheap as shit.

@michaeltizzle. If you're looking at math vs business, this is my opinion of how undergrad majors stack up against each other in terms of both salary right out of school and variety of career paths:
Applied math, operations research, physics, computer science >
Pure math, statistics >
Business
On another note, I just started talks to get an 8 figure investment for my hedge fund. I think I'm finally onto something
