IIRC both fabrics are made with the same process, but cupro is made from the woody centre of the cotton bud, whereas viscose is made from any part of the cotton crop. Cupro is superior, but both are good.

JV I can't find anywhere that carries that waxed cotton tee in size 3, perhaps you could size down to a 2 as their cut & sewn jersey pieces run big. mindtrive still has a size 2 in black left, retails for just under 20K yen.

and does it actually matter if it comes from a female or male sheep?

Well an adult female would be a ewe... A castrated adult male is a wether. In farming, you tend to not keep more uncastrated males than you need - they hurt each other in fights, and if one breaks out and gets amongst the ewes it can ruin the breeding program.

So if you're keeping rams, they're for breeding (i.e. good genetics) or for sale to specific markets (Muslim festivals? not sure). Either way, they make up less volume than the traditional meat industry fare and do have some appeal for that reason.

Would it make much difference if the skin was from a ewe, a wether or a ram? Maybe not? They're usually all lumped in the category of 'sheep skin' (as opposed to 'lamb skin').
