they measure in at 31" but if they are sanforized they should only shrink about an 1" which would be fine in the waist but the thighs (i do have slim legs I will admit) are way too baggy on me. I knew they weren't slim fit but neither are my Sorahikos and they fit nice and tight in the thighs. I'll probably be selling these. I'm thinking $200 shipped which is $20 less than paid.

I just got my Studio D'Artisan sd-201 in a size 30 and they are HUGE on me (I've always bought 29's but they have been seeming snug lately). Are these going to shrink in the waist, thighs? Are they sanforized? They are not XX denim so I don't know why they would but I thought I remember somebody saying they will shrink 2" in the waist.

I might sell these at the end of the week. I'm looking to get $165 if I do. They are US made stamped 554. Went to What Goes Around Comes Around in SoHo today to see how the denim compares on the new ones with these older US made versions and the older ones definently feel a lot heavier.

some superior denimhead will probably tell you they're fake, but i dont wanna kill your buzz...just enjoy them, eBay them, etc.
i'm100% positive they're real. all the details are there. the only thing i have never seen before is this 2"x2" piece of gold foil sewn into the leg seam where the two selvage edges meet. i'll post pictures within the next few days when i put them up for sale on Ebay unless someone here wants them. they are tagged 32x34.
oh and as for beacons closet...good stuff makes it in there it just usually doesn't make it out to the racks. last time i was there i saw a kid walk out with a pair of raw or at least they looked it apc jeans and they had a pair of new standards there today but i didn't buy them because they were hemmed to about a 29" or 30".

I have put my 1952 Lee 101z jeans up on Ebay. These were made by Edwin for Lee and never available in the United States. Cold soaked once without detergent.

you don't need a friend who is a broker to figure that out. great neighborhood but NO TRAINS and lousy bus service.

i was waiting for this one. Obviously the Jomon is better because it costs more.

It was a raw space when I moved in and part of what got my jeans worn so nicely was building walls to convert the loft into a 3 bedroom.

where at? i just looked at a place off the halsey stop. cheap but the whole building was a huge fire hazard and yes maybe when i was 21 i wouldn't have cared but when you're 30 you start thinking about that shit.

they're not going to shrink and will stretch out at least an inch.

i sized down on both the sorahikos and the jomons. they might not look it from the pictures but the jomons are slightly tighter from the knee down.
