Someone here said the folks at the store said they are cut slimmer than the Jomons

i tried on the sorahiko slims the other day and from i could tell they are the exact same cut as the OLD slim jomons. the NEW jomons from what an employee told me are cut a little wider.

is this going to be another trustafarian rich kid parade of obstentatiousness. as of late the burg has been just that.

as of late? was it ever any different?

man i used to have all those schism shirts along with lots of mid to late 80's skate shirts...depresses the hell out of me to think i gave a lot of them away especially the ones i gave to ex-girlfriends.

in my opinion i always thought the orange tabs looked decent unwashed but when they hit the washing machine for the first time the color turned into a nasty shade of blue and then after a few years of wear the blue lightened up a bit they looked good again.

i was at a boutique in brooklyn and a girl came up to me and asked me what brand of selvage jeans i was wearing (i had them cuffed)...i said they were buzz ricksons she gave me a confused look said they looked nice and then walked back over to her boyfriend who i'm sure put here up to it. in new york i think outside of a million pairs of apcs and lots of nudies mostly on confused eurotourists i have seen two pairs of selvage denim....a pair of LVC 47 (with nice leg twist) on this fashionable oldman i see on the L platform everyday and a pair of sorahikos on a middleaged guy i recognized as a celebrity but wasn't able to figure out who exactly he was.

Levis Vintage Collection 1947 501xx unworn unwashed tagged 32x34. These are stamped "554" so they are the last of the good quality US made LVC made around 2001-2002. Wider selvage and heavier denim than the current or last few years LVC which were made overseas. All flasher tags included. asking $150ppd (to US. Overseas will be higher). slim jeans are out of style.

i know they will only shrink about an inch in the waist but is the shrinkage the same for the thigh and legs? I guess I don't understand how sanforization works. they have a 37 inch inseam. i would imagine a couple few inches of that must come off in the wash.
