Kiya -
I remember seeing you say something about carrying Skull (and close to Japanese retail) - any word on when that'll happen?
Also, any chance you'll ever carry PBJ?
Funny you should ask...
Starting Saturday we'll have 3001 and 4001BK from Flat Head and all Sling & Stones for women in our online store.
Starting Thursday we'll have Kicking Mule Workshop for men and women..
Starting Friday we'll have Skulls in the store..
Starting Saturday we'll have the Free Bee jeans and jackets in the store
Starting Tuesday we'll have the new Iron Heart 634S in the store
We're also getting a full restock of Sugarcanes on Tuesday too..
KC's Wallets are coming March 15.

Either second or third Sunday of March.
We'll know which sunday next week.

Yes, they're tagged as 36 in length. Do they also shrink 3" in the waist? Thanks~
The maximum waist shrinkage should be 1" if soaked in warm water..
0 -
Flat head jeans tend to shrink quite a bit more than other raw denim.. We've seen up to 3" in shrinkage in the length after a warm soak.
Regarding the waist size, the exact measurements for every tagged size is on our site.
Glad you're liking your Iron Hearts!

Do you know if they are cut like 55 501s? Thanks.
here are some better photos, a quick rundown of the style, and also measurements for all sizes: http://www.selfedge.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=68&products_id=196

So i thought i was losing my mind because i SWORE the Kings we have in stock have a slight bootcut to them, hence why on the product description on our site i've stated that it's a slight bootcut and not a true straight leg.
So after what i just saw posted yesterday i emailed Mr. Imperial himself and asked him if the Kings were straight or bootcut.. his response:
"It's technically a "relaxed strait leg", but it has probabably about 1-2 cm of boot cut from the leg opening to the knee. So it sort of is a bootcut. Almost unnoticeable to the untrained Denim eye!"
There you have it, everybody is right.

Will hold my hand and help me?
Dude, you weren't supposed to show that to anybody.
To anybody wondering, that is an original painting which is hung above my mantel.
No joke.

I think you should be forced to wait like three months before you're allowed to post.
This is a brilliant idea..
Actually, quite similar to how Nike Talk works..

Last week in Vegas Evisu had a huge booth at Project showing their Fall/Winter 2007 line...
Basically after sifting through what seemed like hundreds of shirts and a few jeans i came to the conclusion that they are definitely the Japanese equivelent of Diesel.
That isn't meant as a slam in any way, just more of an observation.

Just as a note..
i 100% agree with Mizanation here..
I was just getting on the guy's case..
I went to see the jeans in person at his store and some of them were selvedge, some were not. In that entire original thread everybody was being very flippant, including myself.

Holy shit.
I just went through the HB pages you linked to..
i haven't laughed that hard in so long..
i'm tempted to chime in with a "Hey Taco, i'll suck your cock for that hoodie you're wearing", just to see the responses.

if it is at all possible, could you post all of the flathead items you currently have and pictures of them in here?
i am very interested in the shirts/sweaters, and im sure others would like to see as well
I'm not certain who this request was directed at, but if it was me, you can go to our front page and we have links to all of our blog posts and recently there's been quite a few posts about Flat Head items:

How about some Imperial Black Selvedge Kings?
Or S5000BK?
Or Iron Heart 634S-B?
All black, all selvedge, all somewhat relaxed.

Ergh! So Kiya, even this new patch pictured with the single bike isn't the finished product?
http://www.ironheart.jp/voice/images/modify/modify10.jpg
Why has IH turned their back on the bikes?
At this point it is up to the gods of denim to decide if there is a bike on the patch. Maybe one bike, maybe five bikes, maybe no bike.

Oh, there's no bikes on the finished ones...
They've created a new tag and have left the bikes off the tag.

It can be arranged. I know some bar owners, and one of them is doing an event next weekend that's 18 to enter, 21 to drink.
Can you work something out with one of them that owns a bar in Manhattan?
June 23...

Just got in word that the next batch of the Iron Heart Selvedge Straight 634S will only have a the sideways red "W" on the right pocket, no arcuates.
These should be hitting stores by March 2 or so.

So anybody find a venue or bar we can all crash on June 23rd in Manhattan?
Shit, i'll even throw in Self Edge gift cards for prizes for best dressed, worst dressed, etc.. let's make this shit happen.

I'm curious..
Does anybody here listen to Rockabilly?
Here's the reason I ask..
I feel like as though so much of what many of us are into in terms of fashion so closely ties into Roots/Americana/Rockailly music that it's odd that we draw the line at music.
Ever been to a rockabilly show? every single guy and girl at the show is wearing cuffed selvedge denim, long wallets, thick leather belts, boots, etc..
We consider those things to be so closely held to us and others within our fashion circle, but in reality there's an entire musical genre that dresses like that from the belt down.
Discuss.

Belts
in superdenim
Out of all my belts the only two i've had issues with are the two that are double layered.
Both of them have come unglued, i've attempted to get them repaired but they just come apart again.
I have yet to see some of these Japanese belts in person yet, but i'm hoping that they're either fused at the edges or one piece.

I'm loving a lot of this..
But disliking the shapelessness of so much of it.
I see a strong middle eastern desert nomad influence throughout the entire season, and the moving away from modern culture is also apparent.
i'm very interested to see these all in person later this year.
