  1. come ooooonnn, you are killing us out here, give us some pics!

You know.. i actually don't have photos. the only public one is of me wearing it for the SF Chronicle photo shoot for the Japanese Denim article.

BUT, AYN should have a few photos he shot at the Self Edge x Superfuture party..

    Ayn?

  2. didn't see your question, serge...

it reads "sea dragon spirit" literally - probably refers to the mythical four dragon guardians of the seas.

i just bought the lightning flat head style guide...nice catalogue.

    listed as 17,000 yen = $140

"SGP-51W Snow Pattern Half Zip L/S Sweat"

listed shirts run from 12,500 - 18,700 yen

    $102 - $152

Actually, EVERY shirt we sell is 18,700 yen ($153).

we don't carry any of the lower priced shirts...

trust me, our prices are the same as Japanese retail, at the most they'd be 10 to 15 more. :)

  3. kiya, do u have an exact date as to when the colab is goin to drop? i know u said 1st week of march...

We won't know the exact date for another two weeks.

It's either going to be March 4th or March 11th.

  4. I would like to know too, the pinstriped pants and jeans are already for sale it looks like but i'm interested in the GT-A model. Looks like quite a high rise though, compared to the 5000WX/VX/BK at least.

The GT-A is a very high rise for some odd reason..

Regarding the new 710 19oz, we've got them at Self Edge, no tab, but arcuates intact.

  5. Hey Kiya, what about the size, color, thickness of the leather patch? The same? Its oversizedness and off white color were so distinctly cool, (never mind the now bygone motorcycles)...

Yeah the size, thickness, and color of the patch will remain the same as before.

  6. I asked this in the small questions thread, but I guess it can fit here too. What model Flat Head would be closest in fit to the Sugarcane 1947 or the Fob 151?

The 3003 is almost exactly the same.

relaxed mid to late 40's repro.

the 3003 has the arcuates painted on, not stitched.

    $280 at SE..

  7. I'm going to continue getting my denim directly from Japan vice going through American distributors that carry the same style without the tabs, arcuate, and I refuse to pay more than I have to.

    SC41966A - $160

    S5000VX - $235

    Brand new, without anything missing.

That'll work great until the stock in Japan has run out and the new productions come into effect and then you'll have no choice but to buy jeans with no tabs and no/different arcuates.

I'm not sure how many times i've gotta say this to get through, but ALL the companies in Japan named in the lawsuit are dropping tabs from their pockets and changing or removing stitching from the rear pockets.

  8. Ok.. sorry about all these asshole's turning your question into a joke.

here's an honest answer.. from what it sounds like you really need something that's on another level, something to push your collection into the next stage.

    There's something new coming out..

check out the Flat Head x Dior x Kiya x Iron Heart x RiRi x Anti-Yo collab...

seriously, the jeans come with a free KC long wallet.

    you can't go wrong.

  9. yeah, the "W" is totally 45rpm's "R"

but i like it, it's subtle. kiya, about the half-arcuate on the SExIH jeans - something like gstar Raw's arc?

Kinda.. Ours is two lines, not one. and it's from the left side.. and it's flipped so it's going from up to down. so in other words, not really.

    :)

  10. hey kiya

so that batch of dukes that you have on the site, are they still the originals? (illegal patch + humungo back pockets)

Yup, illegal patch and normal/large back pockets.

new changes aren't going into effect for another four weeks or so.

  11. Fantastic...was gonna remove the Arcuate and Label anyways lol. Super quality denim and simplicity in "logo'ing" is key...

    I totally agree.

Some people have been saying "i expected more.." but in reality, that's what these companies are all about. Simplicity and a solid product.
