  1. Another fan of Apple computers. MacBook is all you'll need for mostly everything, but if you do professional video or photo editing, the faster processor, larger display and dedicated video ram is going to make a big difference.

Also, it's been said that this summer Apple is releasing a new MBP with a LED backlit screen (YES!) and a processor/mobo which supports up to 4GB memory. So if you're planning on buying a MBP anytime soon, hold off until the new one is released. WWDC is coming up and they usually have a few new products to push by then.

  2. Minya, the sweater is from H&M, yep. I finally got to make a trip out to SF so of course that was the only place I could afford to shop.

diamonds the shoes are some old pradas that I have beaten to death. They were the only things that could go even remotely well here so I threw em on. I agree with others, they're the biggest detriment here, while they look good with other stuff I wear.

The suit jacket is TaT for sure. I agree Analog, it could benefit from a more trad/American style blazer. I have a nice Margiela single-vent suit, but it's a darker grey than the TAT one and doesn't line up with the hem of the sweater so perfectly. This one may be a bit too modernized for what I'm going for. I imagine a lighter grey in a textured wool with notched lapels would be perfect.

    Anyway thanks for the comments/suggestions.

wild_whiskey- awesome, but i think it would be better with white jeans instead of shorts. it just seems kind of weird to have a sweater under a blazer and then shorts.

It is kind of a paradox but it's a look I'm subscribing too lately.

  3. thanks for the suggestions. I actually like the blazer with it, but maybe because it appears darker in that photo, it throws off the balance.

i imagined it would look cool with some white lace-ups a la Helmut Lang, but unfortunately that's not something I have right now

Oh thanks for the compliment chris. I'll write you down as back up if things go awry on my team :D

  4. Sphoxx's swagger in that photo is half of why the clothes look good, if I wore those same pieces it wouldn't have made it to this thread.

I guess some people just possess that extra cool guy steez that some just don't have. cheep is another good example of this among others on here.

The skin color, the hair, the stance, the body build, the way the jeans hang, the beautiful shoes. That's why the fit is good.. Lots of guys here post pictures of tank top + jeans + shoes and it doesn't look even half as good.

I've always been somewhat indifferent to sphoxx's fits, but this one really looks great. I too wish I could pull off simple clothing like that and look as good.

  5. I have no game, I just have an array of ex gfs all the way back from middle school who just started IMing me and dropping the word "NSA."

I can't think of the last time I went to a bar/club or something and found some girl who I actually took home or went out on dates with.

I think I'm too lazy to care.

  6. On the note of sexual disasters, a couple of weeks ago my ex convinced me to drive up to LA at 4am. Having drank quite a bit of alcohol, I went up there.

I don't know how I ever didn't notice before, but her clit was so fucking huge, I had to get out. It was like a very slightly-inflated balloon. I guess I never really fingered or went down on her back when we were together, just stuck it in.

  7. you know this doesnt count for shit unless you pm a brother and let him know who

you almost painted a white map of hawaii on.

saw you thought this was gonna be easy,

    Well, you're out of luck.

Yeah, let's rewind, let's turn back time to when you couldn't get it up,

You know what it shoulda ended there,

That's when I shoulda shown you the door.

As if that weren't enough to deal with,

    You became premature.

    There's your answer.

  8. are asian girls really more kinky then everyone one else?

I'm not asian so I'm not qualified to answer in this thread but in my experience, the answer is both yes and no. Its:

White girls who refuse certain things will continue to refuse to do so until they're too drunk to say no or you threaten to dump them.

Asian girls will refuse until you start doing it, then they'll get into it.

White girls who *want* to do something will generally vocalize this desire.

Asian girls who *want* to do something will wait for you to do it before they express this desire.

  9. Leah Dizon looks like Paris Hilton to me. Instant turn off. Maria Ozawa is incredibly fuckable. She still looks innocent, even when she's trying to look sexy. Even if she has had a hundred dicks up there, I see that face and I think she could be my girlfriend.

  10. I think Zhang Ziyi is pretty but I could point out at least 10 girls a day I see on campus that are equally good looking, or better.

Anyway....as for the food... I don't really care if I'm not eating the same "chinese / korean" food as the real chinese/korean people are. As long as it taste good to me and they don't spit in my food I'll be okay. I could eat bulgogi and kalbi for days, don't really care much about the other stuff.

Problem is that sometimes you miss out on some really great stuff. I generally take at least one pillow dictionary with me when I go to an Asian restaurant so she can order for me and I can try the good stuff. Went to a Korean restaurant with some friends for a birthday and we were put in a private room, and along with the goofy karaoke, I had some amazing stuff I've never heard or seen before. My service in exchange was to try to read some obsenities in Korean out of a slang translation book. And I also had to correct some things in there. It said that Americans say "eat box" as a term for cunnilingus. Never heard that before. For the next 10 minutes all the girls were saying "I geef good head!" and all the guys were saying, "I like eat pushy!!"

  11. The pretention that is automatically involved in any music discussion disgusts me. I am reminded of the quote "assholes are like opinions." I listed some of the more accessible indie pop bands that I listen to, and like, at the request of the OP. Some of them completely changed how I think about music, namely the Microphones, but I love all of 'em.

What the hell ever happened to liking a good band/album without people accusing you of 1) name dropping (btw, that is the fucking point of this thread to make recommendations, thank you) or 2) being part of the "pitchfork crowd."

  12. Nah. Slubby and streaky looks awesome. 99.99924% of jeans I see on the street are neither of the two, and those that are, are raw and haven't been broken in yet. I couldn't possibly be bored of them.

Bringin it all back around. Sounds like Hegel's dialectic.

I was going to say Descarte, or Aguinas, but I forgot which one I'm thinking of... Hegel makes more sense though. Or perhaps denim entropy?

  13. I had never seen nor heard of crocs until I saw them on a dude tonight. I thought he had just gotten back from a swimming activity or something. I wanted to make a joke about his shoes.. didnt know that they're worn seriously!

  14. Hey, got some more info in my myspace, gonna put it directly here... Looks to be pretty important.

It seems pronunciation is one of the things English speakers do well when speaking Japanese.. at least those who bother to.put effort into it, so it's nice because you'll not have any problems trying to explain things to people so long as you can find the words. I'm still trying to get better myself. I thought I had mastered grammar but reading what's in quotes below... I got a bit discouraged.

It would be stupid not to meet up at some point... I'm coming from San Diego. Just realized I never put my location in my profile.

Hey, I got some imformation about OSK geidai.

I asked somebody, they say that, it is hard to go to college from Shiinsaibashi.

A lot of students with Osk geidai live KISHi or TONDABAYASHI.

If he lives HURUHASHI, which is just one station from the station closest from school, u can go to the Tennouji with express train.

Someone uses to live in Tondabayasi, but she says it was tough to go to center of Osaka, cuz it takes time to go.

He says, the nember of students who live near college is the biggest, cuz the bus from Kishi station to college is the biggest annoying thing.

in the rainy days, LOTS of people get in and its sssso HUMID,he almost gets burst.

If he has a car, its good idea to live FUJIIDERA(here is a little bit urban), cuz its near exit of highway.

and, Tondabayashi, Tondabayashi nishiguti, Doumyouji are cheap for rent.

His recommend is living in HURUICHI and go to college by motercycle.
