Damn Carl, really impressive. I notice you that you tend to use a lot of shadows in your photos, and that they're also usually very warm. Do you do a lot of this in Camera Raw, Photoshop or are they purposefully slightly underexposed?

I'm curious what your method is to achieve your aesthetic.

I agree. Too much gap means not enough ass. I like some meat on there, but not too much. A small triangle is best.

hmm but wouldn't the monitor's color profiling affect everything, not just a differently saved/compressed image? the unsaved image looks normal but the jpg ends up different. would this mean that the problem is in photoshop or the compression..?

I have no idea cause I dont know too much about these so I'm just throwing guesses

It actually does change things quite a bit, because adobe programs work their damndest to look good under whatever monitor profile you're using, but web browsers do not. many mac users suffer from this problem until they change their monitors to 2.2 gamma.

You can help assist the problem by including the ICC profile inside the Jpeg, but in my experience this doesn't change anything except in Safari.

The method that works best for me is, use a pro-calibrated monitor profile with display color settings (for apples this is really easy to get ahold of because so many pro design firms have expensive color calibration equipment and 99% of apple displays are exactly the same among manufacturers and models), have default color profile in Photoshop to ProPhoto RGB (by far the widest range of colors for editing photos, but Adobe RGB would be my second choice), and then switch to sRGB before uploading.

Yes, I usually just do whatever was selected for me (which is Adobe RGB), but that gives me bad results. I then tried sRGB, and all the other ways, and I still get the same result.

Okay first off, you have an anime avatar. That's your first problem.

Secondly, I'd be willing to bet you have 2 or even 3 things trying to manage your monitor's color profiling, and that's probably your issue. you need to fix your monitor color profile and gamma. I'm not going to get into how to do this because your anime avatar pisses me off, and you'll never learn. Figure it out. You may be able to download an ICC profile for your monitor if you can find a forum or something for that model, someone may have posted a EyeOne calibrated profile to install.

sRGB is the best profile for exporting to a jpg.

There is some biological element that does cause certain groups of people (which seem to be split up ethnically) to stink more than others.

Asians have the smallest (some do not have any) stink glands, and thus produce less stink. I think I read that white people and black people are nearly the same, with the average size of stink glands being slightly larger in black people.

I think this is applicable. Whenever we go out she's always lying to her bro / parents about where she is and who she is with, though her bro definitely knows she's been seeing me. I only met him briefly, but his attitude about her hanging out with me changed drastically after I met him in person (positively, he used to harass her about being out past 8pm, now he doesn't even call if it goes after midnight).

You may be right that she's lying. She's lived a completely international / jet set lifestyl, mostly around asia with only a few weeks in the US under her belt. I just find it hard to believe that in all that travelling, she hasn't had one night that got out of hand and ended up in some bed with some marines and a few dead Thai hookers.

You may not like how cultpop's items fit him, or whatever, but the dude is one of the most consistently-styled guys on here. He's definitely got style, whether you like it or not. I personally hate Milspex, I hate everything he posts, he's a creepy motherfucker and I don't even like his fits but he's got style and that's something not everyone has. I personally cannot stand bizzy's fits or her stances and expressions, but she's got more style than I ever will.

I can speak that same way about several people on here but I try to keep my mouth shut for the most part. There are lots of members who I would never dress like for fear of looking like a clown (and some of them can look clownish at times as well), but truth is, they've got style.

I'd rather just remain humble for the most part because god knows I've got a lot of improvements to make in my style before I can be considered on the same level as some of the people who's fits I can't stand.
