  1. They start off a little stiffer than FC, which softens up during its first wear. Give the 50s about a week and they'll start to feel similar to the FC denim.
  2. I wore 14oz UES denim plus their traveling shirt every day through a 2 week trip to Vietnam and yeah, that’s the vibe. You get sweaty but there’s something satisfying about it lol
  3. Same, my friend. Same.
  4. Warehouse tee, FC belt, TCB 50s
  5. I think this will work perfectly. They will definitely stretch a few cm in the waist if needed, but overall its a very forgiving fabric/cut. Let us know how it works out!
  6. If it helps- I am 6' and 160lbs, and I wear size 31 in FC 0105, and size 32 in TCB 50s. I could also size up to 33 in TCB 50s and be comfortable with the looser fit. I'd guess that you would fit into 34 pretty well if you're going for an intentionally looser fit.
  7. Some close up comparison of the 30s jacket and 50s jeans. The 30s denim starts off super rigid but is breaking in pretty quickly. I've been wearing it almost all day, every day for the last couple of weeks, and it's shedding indigo dye from the sleeves all over the counter where I sit to work 😆
  8. My size 40 Full Count type-2 has wider measurements everywhere but the length than my size 42 TCB 30s. I'd say TCB's type 1, 2 and 3 jackets tend to fit a bit smaller for their size than other brands.
  9. I always keep a Zippo in my coin pocket, so the only fades I ever see there are a high contrast rectangle 😆
  10. Yeah, that's kinda just the case for FC jeans. I feel like maybe the pockets on my 1108XX (15.5oz) pair are slightly bigger, but the rest of my FC pairs in the standard denim have somewhat shallow pockets.
  11. TCB 30s jacket, Whitesville tee, TCB 50s, FC belt
  12. Nice @wmb. Which colors? I have the green polo and love it. You reminded me that I haven't worn it in a while. I should break it out.
  13. Looking great @HGS. My 30's jacket arrived yesterday. Size 42 is perfect. I'll get some pics soon.
  14. Just received the shipment notification for my 30's jacket 🤩
  15. Awesome, that's very helpful. I went with a size 42, which by the numbers, looks like it'll be perfect. If you've washed it already, have you noticed any shrinkage?
  16. 🤣 excellent Edit: how do you find it fits compared to other TCB jackets, if you have any reference?
  17. I have a 30's jacket on pre-order and seeing how yours are fading brings me a lot of joy @Sympathy-For-The-Denim
  18. Generally their jeans are pretty TTS. I went for 32 in my 400T, and the waist measured about 31.5" when new/one-wash. From the looks of it, their WW2 jeans are cut pretty generously. I don't own any jackets from them, but the flannel and traveling shirt, both size 3, are pretty roomy as well compared to most other Japanese size L pieces I have from other brands.
  19. Solid fit @gmn. 1101 is such an easy cut to get the sizing right, since they'll look good on most people across a few sizes.
  20. The rise is definitely a bit shallower on my size 33 Kyoto vs my 710s in 33. I wouldn't put it into a low rise territory, but that's probably the biggest (and only) area where they different in terms of fit.
  21. Mine are at the tailor getting hemmed. I plan on putting them back into my rotation once they are home.
  22. Perfect slim fit. Definitely giving the Ivy vibe. Been in my 220s for the last couple of days, really rewarding denim once you start wearing it in.
  23. Those are a super clean fit!
  24. https://www.fromjapan.co.jp/japan/en/auction/yahoo/input/k147072084/ One-wash w/ tags Type-1 Orizzonti-era jacket. Not in the market for any more jackets, but wow.
