Yes. Need to frequently remind myself that I don’t need to have every shiny new thing. I browsed sufu a bit over the years, but didn’t join until recently. Was involved in the skate community for so long and only recently ventured away clothing-wise. So that makes sense why I haven’t hit all these micro trends. However, I’ve worn Levi's as long as I can remember and always preferred them rigid and without stretch.

This is one that I missed because I wasn’t into denim jackets then, but would snatch up real quick if they do another run.

Checking in with pre/post and initial thoughts. I really like these jeans and cut. The roping is top notch. I’m still tripping out on the denim pockets bags It’s a weird feeling, but will only get better with wear. I didn’t get as much shrink in the waist as I wanted with the first wash, so I ran them through again as well as a trip through the dryer. Think we’re fully shrunk now - waist snug, but has loosened to what I was wanting and inseam hit requested post-shrink exactly. I ended up with some marbling with the initial soak/wash/hang dry that was probably intensified with the second wash/dryer. My typical machine wash/dry usually doesn’t marble like this, but it did this time. No worries - I’m choosing to see the squiggles as ‘freshly grated mozzarella’ for my pizza pants. Pre Post initial wash, hang dry

I thought I read somewhere that there are no side seams, just the seam down the back. Could that be it and just lost in translation?

I’ll see if I can add more pre-shrink fit pics later or might be lazy and just combine pre/post shrink pics to the picture thread with measurements. My raw fit is really similar to @Jared_Lee with ample room all over. Leaning toward hot wash & hot tumble dry. Perhaps 2x hot wash and no drier. The raw waist ended up on the generous end of the tag size. Still well within tolerance, but I would like to get as much shrinkage in the top block and inseam as possible.

My pair also arrived. Apologies if I missed it elsewhere, but are we waiting until Friday 1/17 to give them the initial wash?

This one is killer!

These are fun. I’ll add these: • Five Pocket Prize Fight • Five Pocket Fade-off • Shinya Showdown

Tracking also just showed up for me. I drew up this calendar based on a triangulation of potential alternate pizza pant start dates.

@ATWM yes the xx4 denim. I think I’m at 7 washes now, 4 with tumble dry. Roughly 6-7 months actual wear. This is the pair I ended up with after selling you the two sizes too small pair the vendor accidentally shipped me.

Good luck on the search @UkeNo I’ve been wearing the normal weight sweatshirt a lot the past two weeks and it’s great. Even fits nicely under my type 1

Here are some photos of the inside of the sweatshirts. I think it comes across through the crappy iphone pics. The special heavy weight has a noticeably thicker and heavier pile.

Yes, both are Power Wear. It’s usually listed in the specific name of the product and you can tell with the cuffs being a different shape (though I’m not 100% if that is always the case). The “special heavy weight” that I’ve seen has the sleeve cuff that angles back to a point on the inner side of the wrist/forearm. From what I’ve experienced, the cut and fit is pretty similar between the two - take your normal size. Pics of the tags and cuffs below. I’ll try to get a detail shot of the pile inside the sweat to show the difference. It looks roughly twice as thick and I think it’s quite warm and insulating for a cotton sweatshirt. FW folks feel free to add or correct anything I missed or got wrong.

Very nice! What all did you use for the bowl? Looks like some oak, maple and cherry, but I could be way off. The green is nice too.

Recent pickups. Sized up on the sweatshirt this time. Looking forward to trying the “normal” sweatshirt since my heavyweight can be a bit too warm at times.

It’s been cool to watch the progress on the IG stories.

Finding an analog newspaper might be the toughest part of this contest yet!

I’m also paid up. Still think a solstice start date would be cool, but looking forward to the kickoff whenever it is.
